If you can feel your bb hitting bottom and not hanging up speed up just a touch. Your depth finder just telling you depth is good enough besides a good map. If no luck in one spot move to another. If you are on them they will hit it. If not move. You will find them. Like sooner said make sure you a moving fat enough for your bait to spin coming down fri with son to fish slow d rigs. His first time. Also google slow death rigs to pick up any thing u might be missing. Once you get it down you will have a blast. Good luck.

South central.My buddy seemed to think that not as many birds as used to be. We did talk to some railroad guys that were great said western part of the state had plenty of turkeys. Dont know alot about the states population,just what ive read. My buddy has more info and knowledge. He is a mdc employee.We also found out lots of out of staters come to neb. to hunt.They also kill alot of turkeys.Still, it was a ton of fun.I guess the company you keep has alot to do with that. Do it if you get a chance. your right BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!!!!!

Agg, Ive talked to alot of poeple on lake stockton and everyone i have came in contact with have been super nice. Thats why i really enjoy that lake. One turd can sure mess things up. Glad your feeling better. Be the bigger man!!!!! NOW GO FISHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a last minute chance to turkey hunt neb. Didnt see a ton but its late in the season and major flooding came through a week before. Did manage to get a nice tom and so did my buddy. Very neat hunt,too bad i couldnt stay another few days. Every time we went out we were on gobblers. Cool beans

WM, What part of the lake were you fishing if you dont mind? My son is out of college for the summer and he asked me to take him to stockton walleye fishing. I have been waiting a long time to hear those words!!!!! Leaving wed. coming home fri. Told him we would try bottom bouncing and its good to hear you are catching a few. Thanks....

Was fishing roark area yesterday and the crappie were hot between 11 and 1 on black and chart roadrunners. Did see boats flying back in sons when i went in there for a bit. It was crazy what they were doing. Also met Marty Thompson. Seemed like a very nice guy. He told me to give him a call if i needed any info. Didnt expect that.

I forgot to say, DONT EVER let that first guy on the plane get under your skin. They are too simpleminded to ever make a connection with a child to make their day. Those exec type people couldnt carry my stinky fruit of the looms....Life lessons learned from a good family and a great mom have taught me that respect for people and the love for those kids, there is no better thing. You stand way taller than that guy ever could. Like I said That was your lucky day ENJOY!!!!
