Good job young man! this morning found them piled up in that same depth as Bill said waiting to scarf those Lil shad while hiding in deep trees... (which they dont seem to all be created equal) it's taken awhile but can idle through an area and find shad and/or bass difference and then turn around and catch some out of the same tree on drop shot guess I need to add the spoon to that summer pattern but I swear that treble hook on a spoon is always hung on something lol

How can u tell the difference between a male and female smallmouth ? The only way I know of is the males are usually thinner and don't grow as large. Are there any physical attributes that can demystify this?

After u set the hook up can't give the bass ANY slack. Reel as fast as u can to get control of the fish. If u watch and pause on TV u can see exactly when they spit it. 9 out of ten times they have to get their mouth out of the water to shake it out... p.s.drag shouldn't be as tight as possible a hair looser than all the way tight

Shroomz head and trd worm is perfect for your child to catch fish on spinning reel. Cast out let sink and then they eat it. Now I am talking mainly farm ponds is what he has used it on. My son is 3 and he is able to catch his own fish on the terd rig lol

Bill, bo champ all u guys have connected so many dots for my brain. Before I found this sight I figured the other only way to learn table rock is to just fish and accept the many days of "zeros" which I have been extremely familiar with fishing year round by point 16 over the last decade. (There really are fish all over and not just on the bank)

Ran into KVD on Wednesday. Nicest guy you could meet. Told him I thought he is the best fisherman to ever walk. ..

Sorry u guys missed me on that one... I always set goals to catch a limit .... whether that be lake o, table rock or bourbeuse. Went again today off the bank and caught 8 fish 3 keep over 12 in smallmouth. That is the reason we go. Not to fill skillet....

Fished pt 9 to 19 yesterday found the same tons of bluegill and lots of shad balls coming down the main channel. Water looks weird green with brown tint maybe 6 ft visibility. Could only get bit on deep bluegill or white crank bait or 10 in green pumpkin worm. Worm was better had the boat in 80 fow fishing 15 to 25 mainly with some other largemouth a little shallower. 16 fish 4 keepers. Weird bite because normally keeper ratio is better.. these fish were all mixed-up and close to deep water feeding on flooded 45 degree angle above bluff walls. Then tried the drops hot and caught a few more all shorts... never could find a good school of nice fish. Caught and released them all nothing over 3 lbs.

And spend as much time fishing as possible

Take a guide if u wanna learn and be good at it.

Look around for them sometimes it takes a little exploring. deep docks or long shallow points with wind. Deep trees drop offs all around that 25 ft range. If u see fish and they do not bite sir then u may have the wrong color. 1st pic fish say yes and eats it. 2nd pic fish decides against it...

Hired bill beck a few years ago and he taught me. Now I can tell u by watching the graph if the fish is about to bite or if he left. How many and if they are keepers. These graphs are amazing for table rock dropshotting. I Am OBSESSED now. And u can't tell me that u can do that without graphs...

I have lived near this river my whole life and fish the big lakes instead. Well yesterday I fished it off the bank with a 3/8 Oz jig and craw watermelon with some orange. Fished about 2.5 hours and had 4 keeper fish over the 12 in limit. 3 were largemouth and a nice 2.5 pound smallie. Wanted to give this river some credit. If u are sick of farm ponds float down the bourbeuse and do a little fishing. It's a lot better than I always have thought....

I fish lake Ozarks some but table rock often. Lake o has so many nice largemouth but so busy. Table rock is so full of nice big smallmouth and 16 + in Kentuckies that I can't help but target them every time I am out. Numbers of big largemouth 5 lb or larger seems much more difficult to come by here. But the small mouth here are so beautiful and love watching bringing them in through the deep clear water. Hmm Choice is easy for me tr.

Have kept a lot of 15 to 16 in. kentuckies and largemouth over the last decade. Not something I do consistently but if it's legal and for the price of fishing to utilize the wonderful taste of clean table rock bass fresh from the fryer... eat same day do not freeze for future. But Mikey McClelland won the that big tourney last year in Wolfpen hollow where I fish a lot. Can't be hurting them too bad but I'd there were some crappie around to catch I'd prefer that.

I am wanting to put my own bass boat in there? Is it big enough and do they have a ramp?

Table rock is an amazing lake. It can bend u over and spank u or it can reward u. Keep fishing and good luck

Good work. Nice to hear JB bite

I would look around those big docks close to deep water for crappie. Just throwing that out there

Had trolling motor only this past weekend and put in baxter. No bites. Aunts creek I put in on OO and talked to a few fisherman with little to no success. So I took off from the ramp and drop shot ted my way out towards the main lake and caught 3 fish in about 4 hrs. Two keepers one short and one a really nice smallmouth 17.5 in long. 18 ft deep on bottom.

60 ft deep with jigs lol just sounds crazy
