Bill, two questions... Have you switched out both treble hooks to deathtraps and are you getting any spinbaits hung up in deep trees?

Champ I have not modified either the regular Duo or the G Fix...I am afraid that swapping hooks might hurt the action... I just got back in from several more hours of "field work" and here is a little more update.....found some feeding Spots in a creek channel so I was able to get bit quite a bit.....as I mentioned earlier you want to be patient and let them load the rod.....you can get up to 3 small bumps before they take it....I don't know whether they are competing with other fish or trying to stun it....got to let them have it which is hard for me!!

I have been having some better results in the last few days using the G Fix in Ghost Shad with 8lb Invisix. I have been letting it fall longer and winding it in a bit faster than before. Another thing that seems to be helping with hookups is fighting my tendancy to set the hook.....just trying to let it load up like a topwater bite.

I have Lowrance Gen 2 units with Structure Scan networked with one Navionics Gold card in the console unit. The Dr. Sonar DVDs really helped with setup and settings. The setup works very well IMO

I am happy with the colors I ordered. The Emperor is similar to GG IllusionTennessee Shad from Megabass Table Rock Indigo looks good as does their Pro Blue Ghost and Ghost Pearl. Call me an optimist but I have a good feeling about this ?

I received my Duo Realis Spybait order from TW this afternoon and honest guys they were $13.99 each. I ordered both the Spinbait 80 and the Spinbait 80 G-Fix versions in several colors.....thought you might like to see a direct comparison in the same color. G-Fix does seem somewhat heavier. I plan to give these a thorough test this fall and winter on 8lb Invisix.

Depending on a number of factors.....how deep...how long....low core temperature.......she could have had a bad case of nitrogen narcosis where nitrogen builds up in the blood and can cause a variety of issues.....nitrogen bubbles in the blood also causes the bends which can be fatal. Really cold water can increase the occurrence and severity of these risks...I was always pretty weirded out below 140 and I also used nitrox whenever it was available. .....it has a lower % of nitrogen in the breathing gas. It makes some divers giddy....others anxious and panicky.....divers can even lose their equilibrium. ....it is one of the primary reasons for the dive buddy system.
