  1. Navigable has nothing to do with it. Elder v Delcor is the applicable Missouri case law. Has been debated many times.
  2. Not getting out till January. Butt thanks for the Rasberry
  3. Plaster's place. We need more people to float that.
  4. Glad it turned out clean!
  5. Take them to Tom at T. Hargrove Fly Fishing 9024 Manchester 63144 314-968-4223. He does a great job.
  6. Different bar. The old Famous retail is were grandma brought you to buy clothing and you ate chicken aka King and French onion soup with her. K's brothers place is a different story. Wife's ex roomy is married to K.
  7. Bought done here too but RPS's cooking tips are good. 3 to many bloviators.

    What's Cooking?

Freezer case find today. Have always made my own dumplings but these seem to work well.

    Whatchya Drinking?

My wife likes her Carolyn's. Rarely touch the stuff but it is not bad. Whatever fills your cup is fine by me.

    Whatchya Drinking?

Carolyn's is usually a bit cheaper. All taste good in morning weekend coffee, but tend to go with Bushmills over Irish Cream.
  11. Wish I could cast allot better BTW. Al A is a machine with a caster in his hand. Probably fires 2-3 to my 1.
  12. The size depends upon your level above the water & rod angles. Would not vary much if at all if fishing out of the same boat all the time. You can cast or you can't. It is the same motion.
  13. You will probably end up with several bait casting rods. You kayak fish, so a shorter bait casting rod can be advantageous. I usually bring 2 bait casters when I float fish. One is a 5'6" Medium action, fast tip for walk the dog baits, the other is a 7'' Medium Heavy for chuck & wind and heavier jigs.
  14. Guess they finally named that spot Holzer. Drum & carp, occasional hybrid down there. Used to live off of Wells Rd, fished it 20-30 times. Have not been back in 20 yrs.
  15. Always have other plans but hope you all have great time!
  16. Have not fished Marmion or Crystal, but had fun on several lakes just east of there. Stayed at Camp Quetico on Lake Eva. Cant wait to go back!
  17. Where are you fishing around Atikokan? Great area, love it up there! Lots of big dumb bass, walleye, pike, occasional Lake Trout. Perch if you fish for them. Prefer the bigger clear lakes. Bass busting on top for cisco's.
  18. Had a Lews, was junk. Plungers are fine, but the presidents have a plastic frame. Will break if you step on or toss a cooler on. Only issue I've ever had with them. Liking my newer Abu's though. Will never buy a Shimano spin reel at any price point. Nice for 3 trips then junk. Can't take any abuse.
  19. Some of the Arkansas meat head guides like to chum. Legal there, but still a retarded practice. It is not hard to catch a stocker rainbow trout most of the time. Have grabbed a few bare handed to amuse the kids. Tap your finger tips on the water and a dumb one might swim right to you;)!

    What's Cooking?

Finally got our Thanksgiving on at Montauk last night. Brined & spatchcocked, & roasted an 18lb bird on Wednesday. Made gravy with the back, neck, & giblets. Did the dressing & a Dutch oven turkey breast yesterday. Others pitched in with the mashed potatoes, sides, & desserts. 20 in the wall tent for dinner last night. Got the campers winterized and just got home. The catching sucked but a real good time.
  21. Hauling it out soon. Final trip. Winterized before we tow home.

Interesting. I like Sav. Blanc allot but consider it a summer wine. Will be picking up some Gewurztraminer later to pair with my turkey.
  23. Heck with dehydrated junk. Bigger boat and a cooler loaded with fresh food. Extra cooler for beverages. Ate MRE's for a month once, will not eat another one.
  24. G&W Sausage off of Kingshighway makes some great stuff. Taqueria Durango in Overland is good and dirt cheap.
