Bechamel sauce is easy...just some butter/flour roux, half & half heated to hard boil, some white pepper and a bit of salt in the half & half . Add some grated cheese noodles and what not if you want some mac/souped up mac. Half a stick of butter and and equal amount of flour should work for the roux with a quart of half & half. Used to make 5 gallons at a time at the Italian place.

Bailed out of equities a couple weeks ago, took a 10% hit, but walked out ahead of a year ago. Should be fine if I we need to burn through some of it during this panic. Figure it will be a lean year. Most of our small business customers will be closed or with limited revenue. IRS should allow folks to take a free $100k out of their retirement plans this year just to live on. Allow a free $200k next year for the economic reboot. It could not hurt. Better than a lousy $1,000 check, and no out of pocket cost.

Think most of the manned MDC facilities are closed, but you can still use the properties for the time being. State parks still open, hosts on site, no facilities open. Get outside responsibly now. The hares ear looks more like a hatchery pellet. Don't fish to deep for stockers. They tend to suspend a couple feet below the surface, so if you are fishing bottom at BSSP, you are usually fishing below the majority of the fish. Learn to site fish, and nymph fish w/o a bobber. See (or visualize) where your fly is, and set the hook if something eats in that area.

Kids are liking the school closing. They are face timing their friends, nieces, and nephews across the country, and playing board games, guitars, and piano together. Duct taped one of their Ipads to a cardboard box to facilitate. Not sure that we have enough bandwidth. Figure I'll do 6 hours in the office, and the rest at home next week for the duration. We are very fortunate...will be sending some coin to the Webster Groves SD lunch program...think 10-12am pickup at Hudson School starting soon. Kid has gotta show, but no names, no questions, any kid from anywhere can show and get food. Will get a lunch for day of pickup, and something for breakfast for next while school is out.

Had a little issue today...Sinuses all plugged up, and left middle ear pain, right one clogged but not so bad. Called my internist, described it to the nurse, Ear Sinus Issue, don't come in, but we will give you a scripts based on what you described. Told her two that work for me, that they have treated me with before. Must be hellishly busy. Took em 7 hours to call it in. Doubt if Doc ever looked at. No office visits are being done..Tell the triage lady on the phone about what you want . You will get it with no office visit. Will take 7-8 hours...Feeling much better now, but the Prednisone has me wired. .

I you heat something to 140 degrees it kills most bacteria & virus...180 for 10 minutes usually kills almost all. I would not be hesitant to eat a freshly cooked product. Kid in the low rent areas are going to suffer. Uncle Jimmy used to run the Fox district in Jeffco...Lots of pockets of poverty, still.

Casino's are certainly non-essential. Money is hard to get, and casinos are the saddest places in the world. Filled with losers. Restaurants in STL, STLCO, STC, and Jeff Co, will be pick up only, Bars closed. Carry Nation would be proud! Hospitality is a tough business, feast or famine. Its gonna suck for the wait staff workers. Gonna suck for me too...Have a few restaurant owners as customers, and lots of retail. I'm sure they aren't gonna want to pay retainers for any months that their doors are closed. Think we be 100% VPN/Facetime/Webportal by end of the week. Might have a person in office for a paper document drop a couple days a week. Its not supposed to live on cardboard or paper for long, so get the paper sorted & scanned a couple time a week. Let the current stuff sit, and scan the old batch.

Clamidia, A dipshort in the fire control shop caught that from a bar girl in the P.I., and not in the usual way. He ate that gal, and got the worst sore thought ever. Lost about 50lbs before that got cleared up.
