  1. I would be a member, but this would be the place I come to for conversation. It might generate a few more members. I would be more interested in members that share information, not lurkers and readers.
  2. I would love to learn from Beck someday. If he is busy....Don House, Eric Prey, Phil, Bill Babbler (probably booked up), Chris and a few other guys on here would be outstanding. I probably missed a few. A quick search might bring up some prior reviews and discussions.
  3. Best of luck to you guys. A dream comes true only through hard work. No clue who said that, but thought I would borrow it.
  4. Sweet! A scale is a scale. GO with it.
  5. Haven't seen you for a bit, Bill. My step-dad passed away and it kind of puts things into perepective. He always wanted to come fising, but didnt care about species. Seems there might be a lesson somewhere, if I am not to dull to decipher it. Good to see you again.
  6. Thanks for the info. Night brother.
  7. "Maybe we could hire some pirates from Somalia to come hijack a few." Baldknobbers?
  8. I have a hard time discovering what the pleasure is in such large craft. I can understand jet skis, towing the tubes and skiing, but not the huge boats. I doubt if anything will ever be done, because we all complain, but not sure how to fix it. On a more positive noted.....Eric, I saw your photo at Just For Him, they spoke very highly of you. You are obviously a good ambassador for the fishing lifestyle. Many thanks.

    Redfin?

I usually end up taking them down to a pond near our house and working on them for a bit. I also have to put the suspenda dots on the very back section and the back of the first section on most of them. Once I get one worked out.....it is sweet. I don't know why I don't just spend as much tume perfecting the other top water baits.
  10. Lol! He is on the right. I know he knows how to properly mount his butt seat.
  11. At least she is sexy and waving. Most of them don't even wave.
  12. Tom is one of the guys who taugt me aout Table Rock. He is generally right. Deep. Both the fish and Tom.
  13. I never did measure it. It tried to take my life when I weighed it. It is by Mill Creek if you want it though. Likes spinners.
  14. Photo of walleye
  15. I have been very lucky in having to work weekends the last three years. The lake is a little less crowded on the weekdays. Now I have weekends off and the lake seems almost full. I won't go into all of the stories. We fished around from Schooner to Aunt's Creek. Caught four shorts early on the red fin and two more shorts on a spinner and jig. We caught some blue gill and one 5.4 pound walleye. I have a pic of it and will try to post it later. Bumped into some of the OAF gang. I hope they weighed heavy bags.
  16. The wife and I went out this morning too We didn't get on the lake until 7 though. Same story...some shorts on the red fin, caught one short on a white grub tail and we caught a couple on the Eakns jig. There was no wind early. About noon a bunch of huge boats came out on the lake and tried to kill us so we left the lake around 1.
  17. Hard to tell this far out, but I would guess deep with the shakey head, drop shot or Eakins jig. Hopefully the smart guys will chime in.

Many thanks. We will see what happens tomorrow.
  19. That is a nice fish, but the photograph is outstanding. The detail is great on the fish with the lure and net.....Whufta!
  20. THat does lok nice in the photo.
  21. Seems odd it wouldn't let you upload a small pic like that. I am sure motoman will take care of you, but if that doesn't work....I can try to get it to post as well.
  22. You are braver than I to protect yourself from bears with 00 buck! Heard of a a friend in Alaska who killed one with a 45 pistol as it charged.
  23. Such a tease!
  24. That sucks. Hate to see needless marks in that sleak Champion you have. Reminds me of when Simmons was checking out.....well never mind, you were there. Seriously sorry about the boat brother.
