Seems like this would be a good time to prefish. One fish weigh in and you could always return it.
That said Im hoping to make it. I plan on staying down there over the weekend. The bummer is its my birthday so not hanging out with the family that day will kinda stink.
Not a swindle fan.
I thinks it's funny, as always, how many people on facebook groups are looking for these heads now like they just came out.
I've got a few. It's one of those things I pick up and think I should spend so e time with it but never do. Now would be a bad time to start.
Live yea it kinda sucks. They don't film for live though guys. They film for TV production. In other words the show will clean up well when it's aired.
If the live streaming thing keeps on though they'll definitely have to change the way it's produced and the way the show is ran. The suspense and excitement needs to keep going and not be drug out like that.
I'm not picking on you bud. I've just heard that so many times on this site by people that don't have them. Their use for me goes beyond just actual fishing. I've really paid attention the last couple years how often I thought I would use them. Shoot even just at tournament weigh ins it will be very nice not worrying about finding a spot to tie up to. I can't wait to get it put on. Hopefully another soon enough too.
I have been studying these for a while now. Tuesday I was on the verge of ordering a power pole but found a Talon waaaaay to cheap to pass on. So now we will see how I like talons.
The thing with power poles is they can be lowered so the back boater can cast easier. Also for a dock fisherman like myself getting them out of the way to go under walkways and cables is a plus.
The on table rock you won't use them malarkey is a myth. I can't tell you how many times in the last couple years I wish I had them. From using them at the ramp to helping my kids when it's windy I think it'll be extremely handy.
If I like the Talon I'll buy another. If not I'll sell it for a power pole.
Balsabee pleeeeeeease forward me the results!
My stratos 200 with a 3.1 yamaha 200 has almost identical specs and results as you. I want to try a 26 pitch tempest because it holeshots great and winds out good.
It wasn't that long ago when they'd have booths of different manufacturers setup and it was pretty cool to walk through and see it all. A slew of pros were around too. It's definitely not that way now.
We did go Saturday and I got into a scrap with a couple bully's.
