I've wondered about dropping mine down to get video of cover etc. what I wonder is how deep can we go in what we call clear water around hear before you can't see anything.
When you say use the side imaging are you talking about looking for the fish themselves or the cover.
Funny thing is I idled a stretch yesterday that matches your description that I'd logged away to investigate in the near future. Wind+wife and kids=not an experimenting day.
I think we are heading out in a few. Not the best day to take the family but at least it's warm. I imagine I'll try for some eyes real quick then chunk a wart.
I struggled as well in the eagle rock area. Three walleye, three bass. I found some small groups of bass on flats but they weren't very responsive obviously. I'd drop a spoon and the school would hit the floor. That's frustrating. The one keeper bass I had on was on a wart.
I'm very curious on the results of this trip!
I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Good deal. I went out for a few hours today looking for a few bass. They weren't playing for me. I imagine I'll head east from eagle rock tomorrow.
I have that and a few others nib that I'm afraid to throw. I have a hard time throwing a $20-25 lure. One worth $75 or so makes you start wondering if the difference in new and old really matters lol.
I really thought yesterday would be a slaughter fest. I don't feel as bad about leaving the boat behind now. I'll be back from Wednesday night to Saturday evening though and ready to do work.
That would be it. It's a neat creek especially after a good rain. Has plenty of water in it too. I wish I could afford the house on that point you mentioned.
