  1. Well not the answer I was hoping for but basically what I expected. Looks like the ol' T3's will stick around a while longer. Btw, if you are a centrifugal fan try the 13 fishing concept reels. I bought an "A" and it's an excellent reel for pitching.
  2. Has anyone noticed a difference in the braking performance from the low end lews to the high end? I tried the newish lfs $100 special and just don't like the brakes. I'm a daiwa guy and love their braking best especially for pitching and you've heard me preach that before. Anyway was just curious if the brakes were better or perhaps a lighter spool in the high end lews.
  3. That's the first time I've heard that. Stinks. The tatula said mentioned earlier have a wide profile, not sure if it would be enough. I think the old shimano Calais were pretty beefy too. Im the opposite. The smaller the better. A tatula is to big for my tastes. That stinks because you can get them on eBay cheap. On bps bps I was told they are trying to move toward store brand stuff as much as possible by two different employees. Totally defeats the purpose of me going there if I can't window shop. If I'm not there I can't buy any products at all.
  4. All sold. Thanks OAF
  5. Midsouth is sold
  6. Sold. Thx oaf
  7. I might consider selling the head unit by itself.
  8. Complete unit ready to go. Bought this year. Have two but I think I'm just selling the one. I'm listing on other sites but I hope to sell locally to one of you guys. Excellent graphs. You can see screenshots of them on this site. $750
  9. Still for sale. Would ship if needed.
  10. Thank you sir
  11. Still for sale...
  12. I see what happened now. My phone autocorrected mh to my in the title.
  13. Looks like Trophy wants it but for the sake of having a more complete ad the rod is a casting and as mentioned above a 6'10". It was supposed to say mh in the title but I forgot. It's basically a bucoo version of the eakins jig rod. Here's a link to tackle warehouse for more info http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Falcon_BuCoo_Casting_Rods/descpage-FBCC.html
  14. I'm not really a falcon fan but I know others are. This is a brand new rod. $80 and it's yours. That's around $30 cheaper than the stores I believe. Please private message me so it sends me an email notification to reply.
  15. My personal experience with them at grand is they will flat destroy line. Buy quality flouro and it helps. I primarily use sunline structure and shooter. Check often and plan on retying a lot. A a friend was on crankbait fish at grand last year where there was lots of zm's. He would be cranking and suddenly lose his bait he'd wait for it to float back up then retrieve it. Another aggravation is them attaching themselves to your crankbaits. They'll be or are in Table Rock without a doubt. Now whether it has a positive or negative impact on the fishery itself despite the some of the annoyances I have no idea. I've heard also that lakes only get better. I don't think we need to wear the foil hat like some are though either way.
  16. Sold
  17. Huk Gear 50% off coupon If you're planning a sizable order this could obviously save you a ton. You can get a full set of rain gear for $159 plus whatever else you choose. I believe it's a one time order code. $50 and it's yours
  18. I did. Thanks for the interest though.
  19. you can actually feed si into into non si units on humminbird via Ethernet. Say you have a 999 at the wheel and an 859 at the trolling motor. It's a neat feature for some I'm sure especially if you doibt you'd use si up front much. Personally I like it up front. You find all kinds of stuff while covering water but that's another topic. You won't go wrong no matter what brand you by as long as you like the layout and menus. I'm watching the other brands. It's getting competitive. Hopefully they'll quit going to court soon and then the prices will get even better
  20. this is also true from my experience. Good menus, screen presets like a car radio, just a simple layout. Customer service has been good to me
  21. yessir. They worked great after you fixed them the last time, until today.
  22. Both brands are great but I run birds. The main advantage of birds is the mucho much better mapping. Some guys actually run both brands just to get the humminbird/lakemaster mapping. The picture is great but from everything I've heard (no personal experience) lowrance has a slight edge in real life situations. It's not much but it is what it is. I'll keep running the birds though. The maps are great and the much simpler installation is worth it imo. I just don't like the separate lss box of lowrance but that could be why it's clearer? Just so you know you can buy 999's new right now for $859 and 1199's for $1299! Heres a few screens from my 999's.
  23. It looks like the big banners are back. I noticed it on my iphone anyway. The store sounds great. I appreciate your work here Phil. You've made a neat site
  24. I like it! You know you're around years of clutter when you're around foam lol.
