  1. I don't have much to say so this meme pretty much sums up my fishing this weekend.
  2. I threw a dt16 this afternoon/evening. Caught one small walleye and a sub legal bass. Still trying to figure this out. Gone try deeper tomorrow. There is so much bait suspended on flats it's crazy. One fish I caught this afternoon out of brush puked up a 3-4" shad. I hope they move into the wood more. I'll check again tomorrow to keep them honest.
  3. The fishing was slow but the conversation wasn't. I had a great time! If Mr. Rps will have me again sometime I'll look forward to it. Hopefully I can return the favor. My family and I will be going out several more times so hopefully we can get something dialed in. I'll report back.
  4. Good deal. Have any pics of your craw stencil?
  5. Do that many fish actually make it through?
  6. This post made me laugh because I've been ssssooooooooo guilty of chasing fish on a spot for far to long! Very good points made
  7. I should have mentioned I do the pupils by dipping a round object in the paint and touching it to the lure. I don't use a stencil.
  8. Si is useful up front but is definitely an investment and not as needed. I hardly use di but that's going to change. The target separation is very good on di and honestly I've been missing out by not using it. It's not needed for actually watching your worm fall to the fish since 2d is best for that.
  9. Please do! I drill holes to mark center. Then I used a dremel to oblong the holes. That's the tricky part. It was hard to duplicate for both sides. It's important on a wart since you see both eyes at once.
  10. That is a freakin sweet color combo and nice stencil work too! I had to make a stencil for the storm eyes. It was a pain getting it right. There's a guy that sells stencils on eBay if you contact him he will make you an eyes stencil. I was about to that point before I finally got mine right. Or what I consider right anyway. Far from perfect. The pupils aren't centered well on my test lure. Terrible pics but it's all I have on my phone.
  11. Lolololoololol!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. This big time. This year I networked mine together and its mucho more betterer.
  13. Champ, when you pitch boat slips what weight are you using? For straight vertical fishing I use 3/8-1/2 but that would be a little much I'd think for dragging and pitching.
  14. What electronics does it have? I was able to see a crappie jig on my garmin 240 10 years ago. Also the Lowrance x15 came out then and really got the ball rolling on graphs. What you can get is just budget and preference. There's things I like on Lowrance and Humminbird but I run two Humminbirds. Next time I buy I'll look into the Garmins I'm sure.
  15. For a minute I thought that looked familiar but it doesn't have a freaking golf cap on so it can't be.
  16. Lol! Dang the luck!
  17. Just looked here and it was 920 apparently. http://tablerock.uslakes.info/levelcal.asp Thanks for the help Bo!
  18. Awesome ty! I've launched at eagle rock were I had to pick up my wife and kids on the camp site to the east of the ramp. The water was up to the highest railroad tie at that site if that makes sense. That was August a couple years ago. I don't remember the level but I think it was around 921 then. I'm not sure.
  19. Was wondering at what level the corps ramp becomes useless? I've launched when it's been high but by the time I get there Thursday evening it will likely be higher than I've seen. If it's no good is the marina ramp any better?
  20. Wolf creek won't be usable. Terra Miranda is a good high water ramp. Honey creek works too but not by yourself.
  21. I'm hoping we can get through Cassville Thursday evening on the way to the cabin! I'm half joking but if it rains Thursday I'd think it will come up that much quicker. I guess I may have to look into a long route to Eagle Rock.
  22. Heck yea man!!! You did it right! I'm glad you got the big boy. I wish I had one (or two) of the 12's. What's cool is due to the new design that one is the same size as my first gen 8'. They just released new 8' models that are super compact I guess. Boat looks great. I love the color. Champs are classics.
  23. Ha! Awesome connection between the two!
  24. Still that's why you have it. I'd sure try it.
