  1. I had them at Hook Line and Sinker this weekend and have a bunch left... let me know when your in town for the stickers.
  2. I had to splice mine a while back, totally my fault on it parting. It was as simple as rewiring anything. A. Get wire connectors B. Shrink Tubing C. Lexell ( elastomeric caulk ) D. Wire To do it I simply slit the wire 10'' and slipped on 2ft of shrink tubing, then I added wire connectors to all the severed wires. I lexelled the area and the wires where the tubing would cover. With a hair dryer I heated the tubing and was done. Very simple and lasted for 6 months till I ooppssed again and broke the transducer on a rock and had to replace it.
  3. Randy; When I was dealing with reptiles I all to often had customers complain they died on arrival. My terms of service was to send pictures with a Nail through the animals head because honestly I had been lied to but I quickly learned the value of a picture and backing up everything you say as many will doubt you without it. Though I don’t doubt you, I can see a back and forth thread here that will not be good for anyone as I am sure Wolfe will at very least view this thread if not respond with their version. So I must ask did you get pictures of their install job to prove it was done incorrectly? Also no matter who is doing anything mistakes can happen and I would certainly hope a client would give me a chance to make a problem right before plastering it on the net. As a matter of fact I know when people make BBB complaints the first question the BBB ask the contractor is did you take steps to correct the issue.
  4. I'm behind on a few things as I was researching some stuff. Looks like I will be adding Lemon Grass to the Garden in very large posts along with Basil and Rosemary. After work tomorrow my little butt will be getting the remainder of the garden planted and finished off.
  5. I understand completely, If you need some stickers for it come by and see me Im opening tomorrow and Phil sent me a pack of New OAF stickers.
  6. I never have figured out why it does that from the redbox but that is why I don't use it, to many issues myself and heard from others. I hot water my reels before I go and after I get home as well.
  7. Tonight's feast Ranch Striped Bass 1. 1 Pack of ranch dressing (powdered form) Dust on the Fillet, let stand for 15 minutes. Then flip the fillet and repeat. 2. Place Fillet on Cedar Planks and bake for 17 minutes at 350 degrees.... ( This is also the perfect amount of time to cook Biscuits ) 3. Remove Biscuits and move Fillet to top rack and set broil on low for 6 minutes. 4. with 2 minutes left squeeze fresh lemon over it and place one slice on top of fillet. 5. Remove and enjoy with fresh mashed potatoes.
  8. Um its Friday you don't fish on Fridays
  9. I really don't get where the knot is the problem as anyone who fishes with me can see clearly I only use one knot and never had a problem with it. Improved Clinch! Now I do think people have their drags WAY to tight, I did it yesterday and lost a big fish but that was my fault not the line or knot, I set it down tight as I was getting crappie and small whites and a big girl decided to say HI. I fish for the Battle and tend to under power my line to let the fish get the advantage. But truth be what it is even the most inexperienced fisherman can land a big fish if the knot is tied right and if the line is good quality and if the drag is set right. Proof is last Sunday my wife put a 38lb fish to boat on 10lb line and she has no clue how to fight a fish, just listened to what I said and reeled it in. If you have a drag set so tight it breaks the knot you need to back off the drag. I know in tournaments you want them in fast to not stress them for the day in a live well and weigh in and releasing them in as good a shape as possible. But for the average Joe, Just set the drag right and you should be fine 99% of the time. If I was to recommend 5 lines for fishermen it would be 1. Seaguar Fluorocarbon Yellow Box 2. Yozuri Hybred 3. Ande tournament 4. Ande Pink 5. P-line Fluorocarbon I have used so many lines over the years but those 5 are the best I have used and in the order listed.
  10. Top is a Hybrid and a nice one at that, Bottom is a monster of a white bass. The Hybrid has several lines making it to the tail the white only the lateral is making it. Also the breaks in the lower lines are classic of each species. KJ what did that white weigh its a giant.
  11. No law against it unfortunately as they are a rough fish. but when I see things like that it makes me wonder what else might be going on. I wish they would just incorporate all fish under wanted waste laws. Been seeing a lot of carcasses left in the water by the docks and ramps lately and that also gives fishermen a bad name. For god sake take them out in deep water and dump them no reason to leave them where everyone can see them. Only takes one person with the right connections to make life hell on the majority
  12. Bill if your wanting one of the Big Girls the set-up is simple Brooder minnow of shad. Match the hook to the size of bait, typically a 3/0 circle hook for most baits but big shad over 8'' go up to a 6/0 circle hook. Don't waste your time with cheap Eagle Claws get the Gamakatsu or better yet Owner circle hooks. Tie 10lb fluorocarbon straight to the hook Set your baits behind the boat 150 ft. Put a small split shot on one bait 3ft above the bait and troll at .5 mph during the day. Toward dusk I will put a 1/4oz split shot on both rods and kick the speed up to 1.0mph Be certain your drag is set at just enough so the line doesn't go free spool and tight enough so the fish can easily bend the rod but with tension to set the hook. ( LET THE FISH SET THE HOOK NOT YOU) if you yank a circle the fish will laugh as he swims off. That has been the hot ticket since December for catching these fish. Most are following the 25 to 30ft contour so that is where you need to look. They will be suspended from bottom to 8 ft.
  13. Game of Thrones. Addicting show GREAT BOOKS but if you have never seen one or read the books here is a spoiler and warning ( George RR Martin walks in to a bar EVERYONE dies ) so do not get attached to a character and expect to see ( in the HBO show ) everything you would in real life medieval times, and the Books are even worse. It is as close to reality as possible.

  16. 10lb floro straight to the hook and never an issue. I set my drags very light for all trolling and adjust during the fight as needed ( ALWAYS back it off when they get near the boat ) Check the first 10ft of line before fishing and then after each fish check the first 3 feet for nicks or frays.
  17. Nice for a windy mess of a day.
  18. Bferg, I couldn't help but to think about this today as I was fishing. You may want to send a report to AGFC. they cant do anything now about this but they might be able to keep an eye out and catch the culprits.
  19. Wanted Waste pisses me off
  20. Is If I would have put every spot on there you wouldn't see the lake. I just tried to get Major ones and Ramps
  21. I just got in some of the garden for the year and have more to add later. My cucumbers and Watermelons I have build above ground runs for them Take a fence post stake and screw a 2x2x8 to each end as the plants grow train them to run the line cucumbers will just hang down but for the Melons you have to put a t-shirt under them and tie them off to the run that is why I use 2x2 to support the weight. The gardens are all raised and different depths, 10'' for the maters, 16'' for the taters, peppers and watermello/cucumber and 6'' for the rest including herbs.
  22. Give me some time im trying to work within the upload limitations, Hope it will help all... While im working on the pictures the PDF is clear.
