So the thread "This Guys Pretty Much Nails It" got me thinking. What would everyone here if they were the producer for a news show " local station " set the line up and stories. Here is mine; 1st Local news - Currently ( LPGA EVENT followed by Construction accident in F-ville then add in a story on a local group doing some good work ) 2nd Weather - Give local, National , Tropical and a 7 to 10 day and some pictures as well as boating conditions for the next day. 3rd National news - Sopranos start dies, Fires in different states and the advancement in cocular <sp> implants, 4th Sports- Cover the main sports, then local and FISHING REPORTS come on look at the major lakes lets have good reports heck use this website for real information on fishing. 5th- Highlight a local restaurant and entertainment events or movie release. 6th Politics and Stocks 7th highlight the weather / boating report to finish the 1/2 hour block.

Al, im serious about the cause. There are several reality fishing shows out right now and people are wanting to try it now. It is not to the level Duckmen have caused yet! But its getting there. Duckmen created so many face paint wearing "experts" last season it was comical some days. Same is now happening with fishing shows its getting people out.

Is that the station who thinks they are all comics. Watch them for a few minutes till I felt brain cells leaving.

Al, Chief; I am not sure what part of ((((( the IRS has admitted to specifically targeting CONSERVITIVE and TEA PARTY Groups ))))) that you two are not understanding. From 2010 until May of 2013 they targeted groups again by their own admission to congress any group with the " buzz words " Yet in the same time frame allowed numerous Liberal and Democratic groups to gain the status. How would it cost votes? You joking right, If you allow 5 groups to gain the status and the contributions / donations come in to them and the group grows its gains members and thus votes to their line. If you disallow 5 groups then they are a negative factor as they cannot grow. There is evidence with testimony to congress showing this specifically happened. If this was scrutiny was applied equally to all applying this would not be an issue at all. However it was not and in fact questions asked to the Conservative groups appears to even by possibly criminal ( that is coming from both parties politicians.)

im sittiing in Prairie Creek doing some paper work right now and there is bream and small bass in the back of it, looks like they are making a good meal of ants and other insects. Size looks 2 to 5 inches for bream and about 12'' for the bass.

If you are not opposed to Big Stripers Flyman hit it on the head. Late Sept to Nov Beavers Big Stripers are fun as it gets on a fly rod. Picture tieing in to a 15lb average size fish to 40 pound striper on a fly rod. Powersite has them also and then there is the toothy Musky as well. We live in great area for all types of fishing.

Al, I don't know if you have seen the commercials about Mark Pryor here in Arkansas lately, but they are funded by Governor Nanny Blumberg's groups. Now I do not agree with Pryor on much but what I despise most of all is someone in NY and his clear agendas trying to influence people in Arkansas. I truly believe only the States are equipped to deal with issues of their state as they know best what's best for the state. I also feel the Fed needs to get the hell out of our lives and pockets. They need to concern themselves with National Security, Infrastructure ( both advancement and repairs to it ) Arts and Sciences and environmental concerns. I was watching some show the other day and the POTUS little trip is costing us 100 million plus dollars and the commentator went on to talk about all the other moneys spend by politicians on trips and was rough estimating it at close to 500 billion a year. I haven't stayed at Holiday Inn in awhile but a trillion dollars every two years says in the last 5 years that's 2.5 trillion. Talk about waste the people are hurting and the politicians are spending it with no care. IRS spent 50 million on conventions and now we hear 70 more million in bonuses to the IRS to be paid out. Blood boiling. I took a major pay cut 5 years ago to help keep the company afloat and keep a job and here we have politicians and government agencies that spend with no regard while people suffer. I watched friends and family in these same time periods loose jobs houses cars etc and yet our government keeps living lavishly. Something is wrong in this country and it is not the average person its the government. Both Parties and apparently many of the managers. Its time to shrink the federal government.

Actually it came into being with Woodrow Wilsons appointing of Bernard Baruch. And the first written account of a "titled" Czar was under FDR. But it wasn't really until Nixon did the true "title" of Czar come into its own. Media were the ones who actually came up with the term and that is not in of itself a "title of nobility" It is however a title now from 2005. Though the "politicians" say it is not a title of nobility but to describe the position. Smell test never set well with me or many others nor most constitutional scholars. Title of Nobility is Title no matter what our glorious politicians say. Yes its a word but I side with the Constitution something far to few people understand. Read the federalist and anti-federalist papers and journals and you will learn why that "word" was so hated by our founding fathers. I'm not politically correct but I am an American Citizen who was raised in a time we still learned the documents. And yes there are many issues, I write my elected officials and vote. I vote for whom I think is closest to honest and will do a good job. I'm not a party voter never have been, I vote my conscience based off what I feel is best for our nation. I have always said that the people need to vote on major issues not leave it to the politicians. Obamacare should have gone to the voters, Wars unless attacked need to go to the voters and so on. Major issues effecting all of us need to be a vote not the whim of who is in office.

Catfish, this time of year Rocky Branch is always good, if you launch in the back the first cove out of it on your left where the road comes close to it is a good cat area. Crappie are normally along the same side but more back toward the boat launch hanging over the trees. Beware the whites are there as well. If its windy I wouldn't take that boat, that area of the lake gets nasty in high winds. Second bet would be try the back of Montne for cats and crappie along its bluff walls. I will be out Saturday evening chasing walleye this full moon looks to be a good one for them.

Al. I normally can respect your opinion but on Czars its not tinfoil its the law of this country simple as that. It is in the constitution and our founders hates titles of nobility so badly they made it a point to place that in there. I have never liked it and will always despise it. Please if you want to call tinfoil I suggest it be on something not in clear violation of our constitution. It is principle and the wishes of our founders and that is that. call them anything a secretary or a director And apparently its ok for the IRS to target conservatives but in the same time gives the presidents brother an exemption and back dates for his political errr (©) and not one audit on a liberal group. That's a tough call Amigo, Parents can only do so much remember we were kids at one time and im willing to bet most of us did stuff way behind our parents back. The sex in schools or school age kids seems to be much higher now then when I was in school. My personal belief is when they took corporal punishment out of school and installed no child left behind it destroyed the learning environment. I see the homework of these kids and school work, I watch my wife pull hairs out because they wont do it even after calls and conferences with the parents she has even had kids tell her they are not going to do anything and she cant make them. When I was in school kids like that were removed and sent to one of several other schools ( juvenile, continuing ed, night or expulsion and repeat the next year)but removed from the school so the others kids could learn. And teachers were allowed to teach not prep all year for a state test. I feel for teachers now and thank god for the ones I had that cared about students and busted their butts on their own time many days to stay late and help kids.

Yes I know what they are accused of but lets have the trials and justice enough is enough our laws must apply to all we detain even. Government needs to be cleaned out all parties are to blame not just one. My phone and E-mails records even if just the number dialed is not our governments business without a warrant based on probable cause. Obamacare is costing use jobs and money... The IRS did target political enemies of the democrats.... Benghazi was a lie and to this day the POTUS will not say where he was that night. Fast and Furious was another cover up that cost an officer his life.... Our Government did target a US Citizen without due process.... Our Government is holding people on Gitmo without trial..... Those are facts and truths and so many more but my soapbox time is getting short. I honestly don't care what political affiliation you have wrong is still wrong and it sucks we have to have a whistle blower come out with the dirty laundry to see how far wrong our governments gotten. You are telling me a Drone Strike on a US citizen is ok? You are telling me gathering information on all US citizens phone records and Emails is not a clear violation of search and seizure? Come on we were lied to about Benghazi, Our congress which is US was lied to about the IRS and The Spying. This administration has a track record of lying. Ya Ya I know they will say some crap about being misinformed or their comments were taken out of context but the truth is they Lied. Its not Tinfoil hat when its happening.
