  3. With all this cold weather everyone might want to check Boat Batteries and Fluids before going out and open all your hatches they may have frozen shut and getting to the lake only to have to argue with one wouldn't be a fun start.
  4. Yup I can see the ramp this weekend already. don't care though cabin fever must be cured

  8. Spring Fishing sales are coming up you need downriggers lol
  9. Jason its not expensive don't let these guys fool you in to thinking fly fishing is expensive, All you need is a little fly-rod and reel with line and a few flies. Oh and don't worry it is not addictive or anything like that.
  10. Graffiti gone would sure be a step, Monument would be nice and why not fix the ramp area up with some tables and benches that replicate whats in the amphitheater and plant some grass. The area is a Historical park looking for a place to happen.
  11. I went out today and saw way to much hard water so I came back home said a bunch of dirty words and kicked a few things.
  12. After seeing that and the disrepair of the entire area it kinda makes me mad. This is such a special place and I see how much is going in to the rest of the city but not our history. I really think the city should do something to that entire area and make it a destination worthy of Rogers and NWA.
  13. I was going crazy and had to get out... Wont be fishing anytime soon it looks like. MONTNE At the ramp looking to the back Froze all the way out PRAIRIE CREEK Looking from dirt ramp to back solid ice Looking toward the park and its froze over Houses next to ACE HQ not a good day for them

  16. Wow sorry I missed it sounded great, wish I could have seen some of them baits in person.
  17. Larson, some days it is especially when PC is up and they get in on that back flat. Which is where I was that night. My wife says I get the Cheshire Cat look on my face when they get up there
  18. Here it is http://www.thenextbite.tv/content/berkley-flicker-shads-color-chart
  19. Well If we are going to post pictures to get Joe's blood boiling to try fly fishing lets do it right.
  20. If you do a web-search for flicker shad custom colors there is a couple stores that have them. One is a bubblegum that will make any walleye angler smile. I will look for where I put the link and get it up in a few.
  21. They were referred in cali as using snicker bars. And I knew of guys suspected of using them and they always seemed to be the same ones with their pictures up with the biggest stripers at the bait store.
  22. My list goes, AJ's, Wahoo, Dolphin, Black and Gag's, Sailfish, White Marlin, Kingfish destroy them, Halibut and flounder, Snook, Redfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail ( Pacific) and Mangroves. Sure I missed a few and yes in colder they need to be slow. I do not see why stripers wouldn't eat them Probably need to work them about like you would for Kings or AJ's, might be worth a try hadn't thought about it.
  23. red is the first color to disappear in water
  24. Butterfly is an awesome bait. I have met more than a few AJ's that made me sorry I tied it on and if a Hoo decides he likes it your arms will be soar for a month.
  25. Guides might and probably will, they have the time to do it, but what about the weekend warrior?
