Thanks. Your right on the bite being later in the day I didn't get my first bite till around 10:00, It was on a south facing bank and as the water got warmer I slowly got more bites. Your right about staying there and more fish will move up. i fished the same 100 yards stretch until I thought they were done before I moved on( which was about 4 hours). The first bite was in about 15 foot of water and before I finally left I was catching them in about 5 foot of water. It was hard staying there cause there wasn't a lot of activity but it seamed to be the right decision at the time
The bite on Sunday was definately tougher than it was on Saturday, I ran the opposite direction on went south to the long Creek way, I had 9 bites all day and boated 6 of them with 5 keepers and one short. I weighed in 4 LM and 1 K for 11.91 lbs I took 10th
caught all my fish on the same bank. Water temp was 40.8 when I got there and was 45.4 when I left. I tried to get the fish on a variety of baits but I could only get them on the rig. Well it looks like the weather is finally going to get better
Well it took 24.90 lbs to win today and it took 12.60 for for the last place in the money
which was what I took. Big bass was 7.67 lbs I believe
I believe there was around 58 boats today
All in all not a bad day considering the Crazy weather
On a side note there was a Bass Weekend series today as well, I'm not sure what it took to win
and there is a Anglers in Action Solo Pro on Sunday
I buy them all the time from EBAY but now is not the time to buy them. They get pretty high this time of the year. You can buy them certain time of the year and get them for less than $5.00 and yes that's pre-rapala
My Grandpa got me started when I was able to walk, He started me fishing with crawdad's in the small rivers an,d farms ponds also
He taught me to always enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and he loved to go mushroom hunting.
