😄 I can logically explain why things are kinda weird in Gravois, and the other burgs I've spent time in. But Versailles?..... There is something far more complicated going on there. 🤔

Not really, I just get fired up about things that are weird or defy logic and I enjoy railing about it. It's part of my character. I'm always intrigued by the psychology of people around me. Sometimes you gotta determine if crazy people are just funny.....or actually dangerous. 😂

Were the "police involved" ? 🤔 At least the Subway in Licking doesn't have multiple buckets of water from the leaky roof that you have to step around....and a bathroom that's actually attached to the building. You seem to think I'm just making $#!t up. I'm really not.

Involved in what? The disfunctional nature of the town, or my personal dislike of it? You'd be hard pressed to find anyone local that would dispute what I've said. I've never had any personal dealings with the police there, but I've listened to the scanner. They love to pull over out of town/state folks for "license plate lights" and such stuff, and are running random plates constantly. All of my ducks are in a row so I couldn't care less, but that kinda crap just makes it seem that they are either anxious, given incentives, or bored. Surely there are towns that you'd rather drive around than drive through. Care to share that with us? 😊

It's the closest "real town" to me, but going there for anything has always been a disappointment or a complete waste of time. Recently learned that all the folks that live there beat a trail back and forth to Eldon, Jeff City or Columbia for everything but milk and eggs. Even the car wash is a POS and breathing the mist will make you ill if you can't get the grime off on the first 1.50 If I believed in such things I'd swear that the whole town has a curse on it. Twilight Zone type stuff. It's probably the rotten egg smelling water that the people bathe and wash their dishes in. Some may even actually drink it !

LOL, yeah the folks that own the funeral home also own 3/4 of the town.....and even they choose not to live there. 😅

The hairy armpit of the Ozarks. Lamest Wal-Mart, most disgusting McDonalds and Sonic, ugliest and most unfriendly tatted up/toothless convenience store attendant's, most foul smelling city water supply, most ignorant (but cheap) auto-service establishments, most nit-picky/nosey cops, and everytime a cloud blows over it floods the main intersection. The only nice building in town is the courthouse and jail. As far as county seats go...it has to rate rock bottom. 😟 So who cares how it's pronounced?

Yeah, and the more weigh-ins there are....the more consistent they get. They've learned how to locate and/or corral those recycled bass. Pretty sure you'd stand a way better chance of taking their money in a farm pond. 😊

I know they are reportedly called native (once wiped out....but brought back on our dime). Bass are native too, they just haven't cost us anything yet, so I guess that's why the "racism" exists. They are ALL special. Both should be protected/respected. Actually I'm not so sure that brookies (char) are truly native west of the Mississippi. Are they?

They could have sat there at the mouth of the spring and caught 12-13" Kentucky's all day long. 17# is leading the MoBass thing today, and second place is 3# behind. The bite must be tough!

Prettier, yeah. And only live in pretty places.....if hatcheries are pretty to you. Bass thrive in spite of us. Trout barely make it because of us. Bass have a handle to grab ahold of. Holding a trout is like holding 2 pounds of Jello. Bass fillets, by most folks taste, are better food. Trout are like welfare families. Bass are the blue collar working survivors. 💪😊👍

As far as I know it's pronounced sack. Fried bass fillets are good food. Farm girls are exposed to porn at an early age.
