  1. The Ruger Mark 3 pistols with any age on them ALWAYS need a mainspring. Everyone was taught not to dry fire them.....so the mainspring gets sloppy/weak from being cocked and in a drawer/cabinet for years & years.
  2. Just FYI, once information, pictures, ect. are copied and saved to another site...... there's no "scrubbing" of specific files unless you have creator credentials to the site that it is saved on. A hacker would have to kill the entire site. Illegally.
  3. Everyone is consumed with what it is doing/has done to competitive fishing on the professional level, but nobody is noticing what it is doing to the "sport" on the grass-roots level. It's not a SPORT anymore, it is just another GAME. And allowing it to continue is eventually going to open the door to further issues (waypoint sharing/selling, ECT.) I can't imagine anything GOOD in the future, coming from the use of FFS in competition.
  4. The coolest dove hunt I ever experienced was over the sod farms in Georgia. It was like shooting birds over a golf course 😅 No problem finding birds or chasing cripples at all ! 👍
  5. You're both pretty darn lucky 👍 I was a wicked hunter/fisher when I was 19.....but aside from that I was basically worthless. I wasn't fit for marriage, or being a parent of any sort until I was in my 30's Boy, if you think I'm a POS SMARTASS now....you shoulda known me then. 😔
  6. One of the coolest things about being a CoMo employee is you automatically have access to some of the best hunting ground in the state !
  7. Co-Mo for me. They hit us pretty hard....but they are the only game in town so they get to do whatever they want. When the girls are gone and it's just me and the dog I can operate on 4.50-6.00 a day.....but that's as cheap as it ever gets They do treat their employees well, and they are extremely quick to repair outages, but that's the only praise I can give them.
  8. 8.00 - 13.00 per day here, just to keep the lights on. These girls make sure that the washer & dryer runs NON-STOP 🙄
  9. I've tasted bear that was killed over a bushel basket of bacon grease and 2 day old pancake batter. I cleaned my plate, but didn't ask for seconds. If given a choice I'd choose the bacon and pancakes.
  10. What do you prefer your bears to eat? Blueberries and humans ? 😅
  11. It blows my mind that in 2024 the protocol for such things STILL hasn't been figured out to anyone's satisfaction. It surprises me that anything, including delivering the mail, can actually get done. 🙄
  12. Make sure that the voltage at the foot pedal (plug?) is the same as the voltage at the batteries. Both loaded & unloaded. If not then start looking from downstream--up for any signs of heated wiring or a poor connection somewhere. If all checks good, then she needs to go to the nearest Minn Kota service center.
  13. Just leave the motor straight up&down for a bit and it will drain out just fine. Pull the lower unit drain plug briefly, before a hard freeze, to ensure that there isn't any water in the lube. That's all you need to do.
  14. It hasn't changed any since your last trip through, has it ? That's why I love it here ! 👍 Seems that everytime I leave home I notice some new development going on somewhere. Won't be long until the entire state is a concrete jungle. 😥
  15. From what I gather, they are as tiny as a grain of pollen. They cover the ground under trees and when you walk through there it poofs them up like particles of dust. When they land on moist skin they find a pore and immediately burrow into it because they are thirsty.
  16. Oh yeah ! 2 steps outside the mowed portion of my yard will have your legs and feet burning for 24 hours. They were absent for a couple weeks.....but they are back now. Doesn't matter what I cover myself in, they'll go right through it. Hate 'em !
  17. We've had good results using both of these products, used on boat cushions, Bimini's, umbrella's & various covers.
  18. Well if the HAARP people could figure out how to replicate the weather pattern we had here in my area the last couple weeks....they could create the PERFECT environment for us humans. Absolutely lovely, yet none of the most annoying, and troublesome insects.
  19. A little thick. But if you think it'll work I'll send you some to try.
  20. If it turns out that you don't like it, or want something different..... I'll buy it from you. 👍
  21. I have a pile of old outboard control cables out here buried in the weeds. Want me to go put a micrometer on them ?
  22. Is this the son that's entertaining the Playboy bunny, or the one that's moving to California with the model ? Or are they one & the same ?
  23. In all honesty I feel like if there were quality flylines available, that casted fine, had a decent coating, and didn't stretch like a rubber band, ect. for under 10.00 .....Then surely everyone who was a flyfishing guru would know about it. And the big 3 would be out of business.
  24. The bugs are gradually coming back now. That little break from them was kinda weird.....but it was nice ! A place where there are no flys, mosquito's, ticks or chiggers WOULD BE nice !
  25. The very last place I will skimp when I go broke....is my flylines. I'd go to cheap cheesy tippet material first.
