  1. Actually if you have a 12/24/charge switch on the bow you can rig it to reverse polarity and run the motor backwards. But I hate those switches and usually terminate them.
  2. I think the point was that the Ned catches Dink's (more so than not) and who has ever had a problem being able to catch short fish ? Just guessing.
  3. I love the looks of them but I fish a lot of docks, which means I go backwards a lot, and having the pedal down in a hole makes that awkward for me.
  4. Even the flyshops that suck....are still cool.
  5. Oh gimme a break. It quit being about snakes long before I commented. Like at the second reply.
  6. Right, and be up to my neck in court dates. And everyone would hate ME as bad as I hate doctors. No thanks, I prefer to know exactly what I'm doing before I charge someone (reasonably) for my services. Those "techs" that sell you guys on engine-tuner and fuel additives....they operate like doctors do.
  7. Wrong. My opinion is that doctors are great for setting broken bones and stitching up wounds. All the other crap they get paid trillions to try they pretty much suck at still. Wish I could say things like ..."Sorry I did all I knew how to do for your motor but it's condition was just too far along. Here's your outrageous bill for my failure. Pay soon or we'll put a lein on your house and family. Have a nice day".
  8. The people that die in hospitals everyday are 100% dead too.
  9. Looks like something took a bite out of him.

    What's Cooking?

Joe's pissed cuz he had a Sonic burger for dinner.
  11. The snap swivel seals the deal. That bait is as queer as a football bat.
  12. The Current is "pristine"?
  13. I gotta agree with that guy ∆∆∆ As much as I'd love for everyone to have jet outboards torn up all the time so I could be rich, the rivers are the only place I can go to escape the sound and smell of them for a day.
  14. I didn't say that. I'm talking success rate as a whole. Snakebite included I assume.
  15. Hook up with Aggressor and see how he turned his truck/trailer into a taser.
  16. Doctors only have a 32% success rate, so who knows? What's funny is that if he had died on his way to the ER nobody would have questioned how long before he headed there. Was he drunk? If so then I'm gonna call it an alcohol related death.
  17. Absolutely. So will the extra foot of length.
  18. It's those dang Meth heads again !
  19. Skimping on the X-mas bonuses hu? Bad-bad! https://youtu.be/TQXuazYI_YU
  20. Ham, these are big time tournament guys. You can't weigh in frozen dead fish, there are penalty's.
  21. Specific situations I guess, yeah. But you're out there to FISH, right? How soon do you honestly need to get to where you can cast? Just leave 4 minutes earlier and enjoy the scenery. Yes I know about "outrunning storms" and all that, but most tornados poke along at about 30 mph so even if you keep casting until cows start flying through the air you can still stop fishing and stay ahead of it at 50-55 mph. And if you come upon an unexpected roller or a floating object you'll not be testing your kill switch. I got tossed out at 72mph once and I promise you it SUCKS.
  22. Gonna pin me down on that, hu? OK, sure. Why not? Seriously, once you get over 60 stuff comes under you pretty fast. Add to that the wind ripping tears from your eyes.....it really isn't safe, or smart, and the more company you have out there the less smart it becomes. I don't care how good of a boat driver you think you are, I work on these things for a living and I absolutely HATE when someone comes in wanting me to troubleshoot a glitch that only happens at 6000+ RPM because that means eventually I will probably have to go test run it. Not real fun for ME, and I've logged more hours behind the wheel of a boat than anyone on this board.
  23. Not me. I'd throw the fish at the Sheriff.
  24. "Speeds over 65 is OK because bass boats do it" ??? Wrong! Nobody should be running 70+ on the water unless they are competing in a sanctioned race. 50-55mph will get you there soon enough.
