Listen, I'm slowly cutting back on the Marlboros. Probably never quit completely, but I take spells of chronic bitchyness. I've noticed that I analyze everything that people say (more often than usual) and insist on pointing out the flaws and stupidity that I detect. Everybody is full of thinking errors..... it's an epidemic. I may be divorced and friendless before Christmas. Which is fine with me, cuz I don't wanna buy presents anyway. 🫤

It's never a good idea, regardless. Drinking alcohol is the worst thing a person can do to their body. Worse than smoking tobacco or marijuana, and worse than doing hard drugs. It's freakin' poison for Christ sake. Drop an insect or amphibian in it and it dies. But.......it is socially acceptable, and for most people THAT is what matters most. 🤷‍♂️

There was a little derby today here on L.O. A dozen of the best fishermen/guides on the lake. Less than 4lbs. took it all 😅 I am SO GLAD that I stayed home.

I just learned something cool about "pet" deer. They are petrified of Jack-O-lanterns. They get about 30 feet from it, and you can tell by the way they look at it that they absolutely do NOT trust it. After about a minute that tail goes up and they are GONE 👏

We were discouraged from killing anything that we weren't prepared to deal with properly. So learning that came first. Just seems responsible and proper to me. Ok 👍😊 🤭

Ya know, if you field dress them before you load them in the truck, the heat leaves the body faster and it results in better food. Kids should learn things like that, no? 🤔 I know I know, STFU Wrench and just congratulate the little runts for learning how to kill things. 😅

But IMO it isn't the way they should be taught to "hunt". If they can't safely use a Buck 110 yet, or even be trusted with a steak knife at dinnertime......then for God's sake just leave them at home with their video games.

I got a call last week......"My boat has been sitting in my barn for 5+ years and has Rats and mice in it, what do I do?" I said....Pull it outside, remove the batteries, get it level and put the plug in, then fill it completely with water (sink it on the trailer). Let it sit for 3 days then drain it and bring it to me. 😅

The bilge plug on your boat should install from the INSIDE ! It's usually only a catastrophe when you forget on a bassboat, and have to sprint to the truck and get it back on the trailer before she goes nose-up.

My brother in-law is in Nebraska, and he and his buddies are all-in on the ice fishing game. If you have the right gear, know what you're doing, and can handle yourself ok with whiskey......I can see where it would be a great time. Newcomers that can't hang.....get left overnight on the ice. 😳
