  1. It isn't like the number of events are declining year to year, so what PB2 is today, will be the Stockton ramp(s) tomorrow. Using our wildlife to score rediculous games for your enjoyment is going to come to an end sooner than you think, so I'm advising y'all to take the initiative to make some smart changes on your own..... so that changes that you don't want can be sidestepped and avoided. If your position is to just stand on your guns and pound your right to shuffle fish around with no limit whatsoever as to how often you can do it.....Good Luck! You're gonna lose. 👍
  2. You have 2 separate circuits loosing power? The engine is completely separate from the boat accessory circuits. But the engine doesn't require battery power to stay running, so if everything goes dead then you have more than one problem. What motor (year/make/HP) ?
  3. Is it just the pic (reflection) or is the diaphragm all stretched out?
  4. No I'm sorry that you don't know more! If you knew more about bass behavior and movement then you would be just as opposed to all the bass relocation going on as I am.
  5. Those suspended fish just don't wanna bite, even when there are giant schools of shad nearby. I assume they go on sporadic feeding sprees like white bass and stripers do....but unless you just happened to hit them during one of those 10 minute windows I'm thinking they'd be easier to snag than to coax them into biting.
  6. Well when hundreds of totally lost 2-6 pounders are dumped in that area several times per week, every single week of the year..... you're not going to convince me that schools of keeper bass aren't easier to find there than they are elsewhere. You're just ignoring simple logic IMO. I'm done discussing it with you if you're gonna be that dense about it.
  7. Yeah that is odd, but obviously something is going on there if the carbs are running dry.
  8. If you removed it and knocked the ball and spring out....then NO, it should be on the floor of your shop, not in the pickup tube ! See if you can siphon freely from the fuel supply line, you should be able to.
  9. Not bedding bass, I'm talking about schools of suspended fish, specifically near release areas. Last September there were large schools of bass in tight groups, some were the size of 2 bassboats tied together, just suspended out off the bank 8-15ft deep over 12-25'. Couldn't get them to bite a crankbait or a flutter spoon but foul hooked one on a swimbait that shook off near the boat, solid 3+ pounder.
  10. Good stuff, man. 👍 When you get bored with chunkin' and windin', take to 'em with a flyrod. 😊
  11. I've found more reliable/respectable ways to make money than to outfish potential customers. I've got nothing worthwhile to prove by mastering video-game fish snagging, so I hereby give you the default win. 🏆 But seriously, I do know a couple of guys that are impressively good enough at it to pull it off if they wanted to. I bet @Seth could do it.
  12. I think the man who can't be mentioned by name is doing a fine job. I trust a guy like him way better than any ultra-smart dude like the one before him that can easily screw us over royally yet still have us praising him and kissing his rear end. I believe our current leader has the proper balance of intelligence to benefit all Americans equally. Or as equally as possible anyway. Having a president that is way smarter than our current one is not going to benefit You and Me, or our children, one little bit. Who hasn't benefitted from what he has done since he was elected? I know I have. I don't agree with everything he does, and hearing him talk often makes me wanna puke.....but bygod I see people working and spending money like crazy....and I like seeing that.
  13. Ok, well, without being able to check it out I don't know. Pull the hose off the fuel pump, drop it down low and see if after a few primer bulb squeezes it siphons ok. If it does then there's a problem with the fuel pump or beyond. No delivery to the carbs. If it won't siphon then something is either plugged up or sucking air. You sure there's no anti-siphon valve?
  14. How fresh is the hose from tank to motor? If it's EPA hose it may have collapsed the interior tubing and partially clogged the hose somewhere.
  15. Not now, way easier right now to catch 5 the ol'fashioned way. But if I had some time to play with it I'd take that bet in August-September, or January-February.
  16. What was he on house arrest for ?
  17. If pushing the key in when it's falling on its face causes it to momentarily wake up and go....then it's a lean fuel issue. Hard to say without being able to check it out. Several things can cause the symptoms you are describing.
  18. Does it have a fuel line quick-connect fitting, or is it a straight hose from the primer bulb to the fuel pump ? Quick-connect fittings are notorious for sucking air.
  19. Well prepare to be surprised. 😊
  20. Well you just need a little practice, because it's being done quite easily by several guys I know. Spoonbill, hybrids, blues.....and I'm sure bass too, but you can expect THAT to be kept quiet for awhile.
  21. Well good job, man 👍
  22. So you'd rather have to babysit fish in a livewell all day, make your boat as heavy as possible, burn up more battery juice, and overcomplicate the culling process..... just so you can stand in a line with a bag of fish, hoping to get a pat on the back and earn enough money to buy a replacement livewell pump? Just replaced one in a Skeeter, had to remove the fuel tank..... 464.56. Have you earned that much yet this season?
  23. If you had "etchis" you would quit relocating fish, and push for others to stop doing it too. It's not something that has to be done in order to compete.
  24. Who is gonna bother with all of that when you can just tie on a jigging spoon, or bell sinker with an oversized treble and stab them?
  25. Practically every keeper goes in a livewell (for a period of time) and gets relocated. The reason all tournaments aren't won at release sites are because the fish are completely lost and don't know where the available cover is, so they just swim out in the middle of nowhere and suspend. They are impossible to pattern when they are forced into being palegic. What you're likely to see very soon is guys using their high tech sonar to find those schools of 4-6 pounders suspended out in the middle of nowhere near release sites, and snagging them video game style. Regardless of what you like to do, constantly relocating all the keeper sized fish to one or two areas of the lake is not good fisheries management.
