I don't know, I was told by Kelly that a survey was done and that a portion of property was transferred. His land butts right up the theirs so it may have just been a small sliver.

If permanently attached to the hook they should be no different than rubber legs. They cannot be scented. Dropper flys are legal. Each individual fly can only have ONE HOOK.

My youngest was talking over dinner awhile back about how boring and pointless her 3rd hour class was. Jokingly I told her to have her big sister paint eyeballs on her eyelids....and she could just take a nap during 3rd hour. Two days later, on the bus, they did it to 4 kids, and when Madi got home she said "Dad it WORKS!" 😃 I got yelled at for that, but it was worth it. 🤙

That's the way it is with me anytime we go somewhere. Everybody else hops out and goes right in, and there I am standing there in the parking lot waiting for the MFing lights to go out so I can lock the stupid thing. Then if it's someplace like the mall or Wal-Mart I have no idea where they went.....so I just wander to sporting goods, tools, or automotive and wait for someone to find me. And find me they will.... because eventually they are gonna want some money. 🙄 One time she called me on my phone and was all "where are you?" I said, remember that jewelry store we were at when you found that necklace you loved so much....but we couldn't afford it at the time? "YES! 😍" Well I'm at the tackleshop across the street from there. 😄 -
Well Darlin', it appears that Mr. Ringo is an educated man. Now I REALLY hate him.

Smart man. A 1648 jon is without a doubt the most versatile boat ever made. With a few tweaks in the rigging it can do anything well enough.

Other parts of my body sometimes refuse to do what I want them to ...but so far the hands and fingers have been able to save the day. 😊 -

IMO difficulty in doing certain tasks is just because you don't do it often enough. If I go trout fishing and haven't been in awhile I always have a real hard time with 6x and tiny flys. But after I have done it awhile (a dozen times) it's a piece of cake. So instead of buying crutches to help I just try to practice it more. Works for me. -

There's something screwy with the "chassis control module" on my Tahoe. When I park at night I have to stand there like an idiot waiting for the headlights to go off before it will let me lock the doors. Sometimes they go off in 4-5 seconds, and other times it is as much as a minute. I hate the auto door lock crap because I can't just stop, hop out and grab something from the back, and a passenger can't just open the door and get out without first unlocking all the doors. It only unlocks the driver door when I put it into Park. There's all kinds of stupid soccer mom crap built into the programming because I guess they think someone will jump in the passenger seat when they pull into Walmart and rape them. Personally I'd rather a few just go ahead and get raped so that the rest of us could own a vehicle that WE could control ourselves. If they are going to program that stupidity into vehicle control modules then they should at least make it where you can disable it if you want to. -
No 14' long, 48" wide across the bottom of the hull. 1448 Actually with it being a Mod-V the workable area is only 13'.

You're probably smarter about it than I am, by far. In order to challenge anything in today's judicial system you need to first and foremost have ALOT of disposable money or assets. Otherwise they just bleed you dry, sweep you under the rug, and carry on.

Consider the types of areas you'll be exploring and rig up accordingly. For me I know that I'll be checking steeper rocky banks from 0ft.out to a depth of 12-15ft.' I'll also be checking for suspended fish along channel banks and around points (especially if it's cloudy). And I'll be checking mid-depth flats (4-8') with some rock piles and wood cover on them. So I'll start with rods rigged with a 1/4oz. hula grub and a 1/2oz. football jig, another rod rigged with a deep running jerkbait, one rigged with a 1/2oz. Double Willow Spinnerbait, and then one rigged with an A-rig. If I get a few good shallow bites then I may switch the deep jerkbait out for a square bill or a lipless crank. For me, from now until it's too cold to fish, it's almost always one of the jigs, or the lipless crank that accounts for all of my good days. I never get on a good jerkbait/A-rig bite until Late-Winter.

I wish it was a 16.....but if it was I'd probably keep it awhile. 😊 This one is in the process of getting console, tilt/trim, and the works. Needs a better trailer too. Pretty much a solo, or Man and his dog boat.

The next guy shouldn't, since case law now comes into play.

Don't have a 1648 right now, but I do have a 1448 Grizzly with a 20 Johnson

At one time I wanted that too. But then I thought about it and got worried about their potential clear answer, if we were to force one out of them. At least with the current "gray area" we have something to blame our alleged ignorance on.....and can still get our feet wet (at the slight risk of a piddly fine). If they clearly rule against us then we're all stuck at home with dry feet and all this excess energy and fishing gear.

Bass (especially Largemouth) are the perfect sport fish because of their adaptability. They sustain themselves equally well in an endless variety of habitats. On any given day, on any given lake/pond/river you can find bass catching patterns in the shallows, out deep, suspended in open water, and at several areas in between. And in water temps ranging from near-frozen to near-boiling. No other fish species that I am aware of has the ability to adapt and overcome so many different habitat variations with ZERO help from man.....and IN SPITE of man. That's why bass are the worlds favorite sport fish. -
That number was a quote from the last BSSP meeting, and as I understood it nobody batted an eye at that figure. I, on the other hand, just about fell out of my chair when I read it. Can't imagine any other high-dollar projects going on there of which it could have just been just a portion combined. Hell they just spent over a million not that long ago "updating and improving the hatchery"......for nothing. And immediatly after that did they not buy property from Larry Peace and construct cabins near the spring in the flood-zone? They are burning up some coin with a quickness down there, and none of it appears to be done intelligently at all.

It's possible if the boat isn't too heavy and you have 4wd.

That makes no sense to me. Sounds like garbledegook. According to Google there has been no layoffs or pay cuts. They have hired more than have retired or left the dept. in the last 10 years, and now there's a little bit less to do. What "tools" have they been denied or had taken away ? Not trying to give anyone a hard time, just trying to understand how having less to regulate, with the same amount of (or more) staff, can make things harder on them.
-
If they are regulating less, how does that make their job harder ?

K, so I'm seeing 3000.00 worth of UNPAINTED steel.

I ain't. Chief eats better than any of us. I've seen it, it's orgasmic.

What is the average cost of those 4 beams and the anchoring hardware ?
