You ever found one to be infected? I kinda think that was something from back in the depression days. Kinda like rabies. I haven't heard of any animal with rabies, or even suspected of having it, since I was a small child. A little girl was on her way home from school and carrying a cupcake. As she was passing our house our liver&white bird dog went out to greet her.....so she held her cupcake up as high as she could, which just happened to be within perfect reach. The dog swiped her cupcake and the brat totally flipped out, started screaming, ran home and told her momma that our dog attacked her. Her parents showed up with 4 police officers demanding that we have the dog tested for rabies 🙄 Not a single mark whatsoever on the kid, mind you. So dad calls the vet and 2 of the cops go with him to have Lindy checked out. The vet takes a bucket of water out to the truck, and Lindy immediately gets a drink. The vet looks at the cops and says "She's fine, LEAVE HER ALONE and buy her a donut when you go get yourself one". 😂

I've never had bunny that didn't just melt in your mouth. I was always told to never eat one before the first hard frost, and to always check the liver for white specks. No idea why, but I never found one to have any specks or spots on it.

Amber impressed her engineering cohorts a month ago. Seems they were fumbling with some Paracord trying to make a loop that wasn't a slip-knot, or an overhand granny knot.....She said "Here give me that cord", and whipped a loop in that sumbitch real quick like. They were astounded 😅

I'd rather eat rabbit than any other critter there is. 👍 Love the way that hide comes right off.....easier than unwrapping a Hot Pocket.😋

Sure, I did them in a Clouser, and a Deceiver pattern. Not much success on the Deceiver this Fall because of the falling water level this year throughout October-November I just never found much blitzing activity. But I flat hammered them on the #4 Clouser in this color scheme. Sunny, Cloudy, and even after the sun had gone down. As for hooks, I use Mustad 34007 SS

If left alone I can sleep 8-10 hours, but I'll feel like a zombie for half the day if I do. I can remember as a kid being woke up to go to school after sitting up until 2:am, and thinking "oh no, I'll never make it through the day"....…but within 30 minutes I was fine, and would be sitting up until 2-3am again that night. As I've aged that hasn't changed one bit. It seems that the longer I sleep...the longer it takes to fully wake up.

It just dawned on me (slight play on words there)😉 Y'all are going to bed too early. By the time I'm ready to fall asleep the firewood is gone, and all of the choir members have worn themselves out. I operate at my best on no more than 5 hours of sleep. If I sleep for 8 hrs. it takes me 3-4 hours to feel fully awake again.

Where do they get all their money? I was watching a report, and they said those missiles and drone things they are target practicing with cost 30,000.00 to 160,000.00 apiece.

All the flurries in my daughters school are in Special Ed this year. That wasn't the case last year......which begs the question: Are kids being thrown into Special Ed because of learning issues, or because of odd behavior? 🤔

I appreciate you straightening me out there. As you can probably tell I have spent no amount of time at all paying attention to that drama. If it weren't for uncontrollable pop-ups I wouldn't even be familiar with the words associated with it.

Ya wanna know the part that drives me crazy? Our 2 grown girls do these video chats from their cribs, and everything in the background is neat, tidy, and decorated so beautifully.......Not a single little thing out of place. Then they come home for a few days and totally trash the entire house. Half filled cups of drinks and dirty plates everywhere, 5 pairs of shoes in the middle of the floor, dirty socks on every table and counter, bras hanging from doorknobs, phone and laptop charging cords strung across everything. If you tell any of them to pick up their crap, the reply is always "It isn't MINE". 🙄 Then they get back to their place, and there's 9 phone calls....."Is my charger there?, Is my black sweater there? Look in Dad's shop, and check the dryer". Ect. And let's talk about vehicle maintenance!!!! The first 3 hours of their visit is always spent topping off or changing oil, tranny fluid, coolant, and equalizing tire pressures. We always look forward to them coming home......but there's no denying that I'm equally thrilled to see them leave.

Oh BS! Just because doing what's necessary to stay in charge requires commiting a felony..... doesn't mean you're defeated. That's merely a stalemate. 🙂

Yeah, but not in the way your thinking. It works FOR HER. Since she goes to sleep hours before I do, and I set up 'til the wee-hours tying flys and tinkering. If I start stacking deer hair or making a bunch of racket she'll loudly "say a prayer for me" from the bedroom.....And if I hope to see another day I will say "Amen", and pipe down immediately. 👍 When me and the kids sat up late, doing Wild Turkey shots on Thanksgiving night, Sugarbritches actually came completely out of the bedroom and gave a full fledged sermon in the hallway. It was one of the most inspirational experiences any of us had ever been blessed with. 😳 Sobered me right up. There will be no liquor in the house during Christmas.

If you yell at them they'll shut right up. You don't even have to cuss if you don't want to. You could even add a prayer into it..... "PLEASE! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, and in Jesus name.....SHUT THE HELL UP !!!" You'll be granted 15-20 minutes of total silence.....Now go to sleep, lamb chop. 😴
