  1. It wouldn't be a super serious big tourny, just a bunch of us getting together and having some fun..
  2. I haven't been to the Little Red since I was a teenager and ony fished Cow Shoal then. I've been wanting to go back to the Little Red and take a friend that wants to catch some trout for the first time. Where would the best pace be to wade, and possibly take a newb? I thought about Cow Shoal but wasn't sure about he regulations, is it fly only all year or just from Oct-Dec?
  3. I might be picing one of these up in the next couple of weeks, I'll keep you all posted on how I like it if I get it!
  4. I've been wantin to ask this question too...good thing I didn't, lol!
  5. I'd say the weight of the rod around here really depends on what kind of bass fishing your are doing, or more importantly where. I have an 8wt that is mt bassin' rod, whish is fine for lakes, but is still probably over kill on streams for smallmouth. I wouldn't go above an 8wt. And on another note...on the lae chasing largemouth more movement is probably best, but in the streams going after smallmouth, more often than not the smallies take it on the pause.
  6. Once Valley Water Mill opens up it WOULD be killer with a yak too...but of course you cant...
  7. Just wanted to keep this thread alive and fresh in our minds, I reall want to see this happen!
  8. Not sure he's selling them yet, it' a new material that isn't for sale yet.
  9. The WR Classics are great rods, I love my 4 wt, I was using my 5wt 7ft at roaring river and it snapped (BPS Replaced is with NO reciept), and switched to my little 4wt as my back up and landed a nive fat 10 lb girl, the rod handled the big fish splendedly!
  10. I am partial to my White River Ultralights from Bass Pro, I have a 4wt 5'8" and a 5wt 7' I use them both on small sreams.
  11. All of my reels are left hand retrieve, anyhting else would just feel wierd...
  12. As soon as the IRS decides to do their job I'll have a peak.
