Thanks Mike, not a real good picture my arms just aren't quite long enough. As much as I like eating walleye pretty sure she was full of eggs so I released her so she could have the chance to spawn.

Unfortunately I was bass fishing and didn't do very well and at that. She was 22 1/2 " and fat as mud.

A friend has a 1990 Johnson GT 150 it runs but is rough with weak fire at all plugs. The stator is putting out 234 volts with dva meter when unhooked from power pack but jumps all over the place from 10 to 100 volts when hooked up. The stator has epoxy melting out of all 3 ignition coils, charging system and tach work fine. Thanks for any help. Also voltage from pack to all 6 coils is low and all over the place. Could stator be in specs unhooked then start dropping out when under a load hooked to the pack or would the pack be bad? Have all the tests for the stator and trigger but is there any way to test the pack?

I have never heard of it. I also did some searching and couldn't find anything. If you have a link to a web site or something where you came up with it we might be able to help you.

Can't tell you for sure what they will be doing this year but first week of April last year I was whacking some good ones on square bills. They were in 5 fow or less halfway back in coves.

I enjoy watching the eagles while out fishin, and there seems to be a lot of them around this year. There were 5 in one group circling around the last time I was out really cool.

That was a good article. I really like pecans, so owning a pecan grove and fishing professionally for a living how sweet would that be.

I haven't been ice fishing for several years but I do enjoy it and have caught a lot of crappie doing it on small lakes. Rods about 18" long are best and can be made using the tips of old or broken ones make the handle and use old junk reels.as far as as the auger goes I had one but can't find new blades so last time out I just used a chain saw. I usually use little metal ice fishing jigs tipped with meal worms and have used minnows. Most of all be safe,I like to have at least 6" of ice to feel safe. It's a lot of fun when you get on the fish, good luck to you.

There hasn't been any ice on Pomme yet.

I only caught a few in 2 hours of fishing. But I wasn't fishing the upper end like you were I was going to but didn't want to run up there with limited time. I couldn't get bit on jerkbait caught my few on finesse jig along bluffs.

Thanks a lot I was planning on throwing a jerkbait tomorrow if I get to go out. Glad to hear you were catching them on jerkbait I really like throwing them, caught some good ones last spring on one.

Was wondering what you were catching your bass on if you don't mind sharing.

Went out a few hours yesterday and another few hours today. We only ended up with 13 keepers but quite a few shorts. Shad colored tubes on 1/6 oz. heads worked pretty good. Found most of them on piles in 19 -24 fow the fish were anywhere from 10 ft to right in the piles. Pretty quiet out there yesterday but seen several other boats today. Hope to get out again this week and try for some bass.

I catch quite a few of them out of Pomme too.

Dang would like to fish if wasn't opening day of deer season.

My dad and a friend of ours caught 14 whites last night trolling White jigs. Most of them in less than 5 fow in the back of a cove. Crappie have been slow for us catching quite a few small ones but not many keepers.
