  1. They arent half as sharp as people make them out to be. One person blamed losing fish because of them and now its a common excuse. When i dive i get more cut up from brush and rockt.. Half the time ill kneel on them when im spearfishing. I think some fish eat them. Yes they are everywhere but i dont think they are a problem. Fish are thick in bull.........
  2. Racy is by far the most productive for me on bull and Stockton . We usually have four rods out with all different colors. Racy Shad always wins for us.
  3. My Iphone over heats a little to easy, It also will say heat warning if it is in the cold for to long
  4. i heard down by the dam catfish get the size of volkswagons. <--------------what you hear everytime you tell someone you dive
  5. Yes that is correct. I wasn't actually with him just told him I would put it up here. I'm sure it was the most direct route from cedar ridge to springfield
  6. 50 Ned head reward if found
  7. my buddy lost a rod somewhere between cedar ridge and Springfield. We think it may have got left in the boat instead of the back of the truck. It's a fenwick spinning rod with a Shimano reel and blue rod sock. I'm thinking the rod sock caught some wind and blew out. I know this is a long shot but it's worth a try. More than likely someone is gonna get them a nice new rig
  8. I will say i feel like i get more hook ups on a whopper than a walking style bait. The bass dont seem to miss it as much. They have a nice bubble trail to follow. And it is nice cuz you dont have to wind it near as fast as a buzz bait because it floats
  9. Ive had one tied on since last spring. It is a great bait but its not magic. Amazing how people will jump on the wagon like that...... A-rig on year after a big Tournament, Underspins after the last classic.
  10. Looks like the dam are from the pics ive seen. Branson Bell in the background
  11. I think he was throwing a frog a few years back when he won the fish PAA
  12. Im going with Team Watson. He has a good track record here and knows the lake very well. Although it looks like a lot of local boys are struggling a little
  13. I have see paddlefish jumping also around flat creek. I have also heard some loud splashes and im sure they are the culprit. Also seen some pretty big gar coming completely out of the water.
  14. I have a video of one i will try to dig up from table rock
  15. I have been there a few times in the last couple weeks. Seems like bait is abundant in there. I caught a lot of fish on wiggle warts. best colors were fairly bright, My buddy used a wiggle wart that was orange, i think it is call natural craw, i caught a lot on a red wart and purple tiger. Water is a bit dirty up flatt, out in the main lake around cape marina brown craw was perfect. not a lot of keepers but some real fat spots I Hooked a decent fish in about 20ft on a FB jig but he got off, it would have been a borderline keeper. I went passed the bridge and worked the bluff and didnt have a bite. Moral of the story if you just want to catch fish parallel some sloping banks with a wart and have fun, they will bite and keep you busy
  16. I read somewhere may have been on this site that they have to release walleye when they are very small otherwise they eat each other in the holding ponds
  17. I looked real hard at the 1966 center console. Almost got one but then i found out we were having a baby so i had to go with somthing cheaper. It is a massive boat in person. Pics on the internet do not do it justice. They have a used 1860 at Bass Pro right now that still seams like a pretty good size boat
  18. Dont think you need a trout stamp that far down unless you plan on keeping trout
  19. i was never a rattle fan until i started diving, we take rocks and ding our tanks and the bass come in everytime to see what was making the noise, walleye do the same thing
  20. Type the name of the tournament trail on facebook search bar and most of them usually have a page that gives more info about them
  21. That sounds like a blast wish i could have went. Ive known Watson for a while, he is a fun dude. Ive never been on a ride in a Bass boat with him. But i thought he was gonna kill me when he took a "shortcut" in his Humvee one night....fun times haha
  22. Yep, you think your casting at a bush but its actually the top of a 30 ft tree
  23. I m not so sure there is any gravel in 20 ft on bull right now, finding gravel was my plan a couple weeks ago and all the gravel i knew of was in 40+ feet. I would run some trot lines and scrap the rods, Bull is really hard to fish right now
  24. Im a Bull shoals and Table Rock baby. Although i do make a few trips a year up to the North land. Its a great lake, never been skunked
