  1. Anybody had you dentist to tell you to quit biting line haha. I guess it wass fine with trout and crappie line but. That bigger flouro for bass really pisses the dentist off. Haha I told him it prob won't happen but I'll try
  2. Put new line on it and fished the all day the next day with no issues. I did have a bur in the little eye coming out of one of my reels once. That was a pain
  3. It was 12. Maybe I got a bad batch or something it was also brand new
  4. I fished aunts yesterday. Threw warts most of the day. Caught one keeper spot and then a short on a white spoon. Tossed a jig with no luck. Threw a jerk bait for a bit and got bored with it

  6. Went before thanksgiving feast. Flat out caught them on a rc stick in pro blue. 3 cast 3 fish 4th cast broke one off. Berkeley vanish flouro is on my shot list. Ended up breaking two off before I set my drag very very light. Caught 8 between 14- 16 inches in an hour

  8. Lthe water was fine. Don't think it rained enough too bring debris down with it
  9. Fished in flat creek today for about 3 hours in the rain. 3 crappie on brush all Small. Ran over toward Bridgeport and drifted some bluffs that usually produce crappie. Nothing. Packed it up and caught trout the rest of the day on Taney
  10. I have a bass pro cranking and really liked it. The reel seat finally went kaput. Got a duckett with a bb1 now. Hard to beat, it will throw a big crank a mile
  11. i like the Lucky Strike RC STX in Pro Blue. about 7.99. Real close to a megabass in my opinion, the hooks suck they break real easy
  12. I listened to it along with others unread on here. I didn't get a chance to fish table rock. I did dive out of diamond city on bull shoals on Sunday. And as far as the thermocline on bull it is in 20 in some spots and 30 in others. Went below it to look for walleye and managed one nice keeper. But as far as bass I never saw one over 20 feet. I only went to about 40. All the bass were on wood especially the conservation piles. Went up a creek and vis was bad but there were a ton of very nice bass all species. Most the LM and smallies up shoal creek were big over 3lb. Lots in 5 range. Not sure if that will help much on the rock. But that's what I was seeing on bull
  13. Up the James we caught a few on our normal spring brush piles. Couple keeps and a few shorts. Summer is a little tough with crappie. We always had good luck slowly drifting minnows down the bluff across from bridge port in the summer. Lots of timber down that bluff most of it is submerged now
  14. Go Watson. Known that guy for about 7 years. Funniest nicest guy ever. He's had a lot of top 10's this year, hope he takes this one on his fav. lake. If ya ever get a chanc to meet him buckle up. He is a riot
  15. My Bro Dove Beaver over the weekend and he said there was no visible thrmo or temp change until about 40 ft and it was just a "Muck thick muck layer"
  16. We had a pontoon come flying up on us the other day when we were diving Norfork...had dive flags all over our boat and floating ones down the bank. He got a piece of our mind....good way to get a spear through the bottom of a boat
  17. Explain this popcorn flat head. I lthink I like the sound of it. It is amazing how much meat comes off those things. Even got some nice chunks iut of the head. I actually caught a 4 lb flatty the other day while crappie fishing and just let it go. I think that big one will go quite a ways
  18. I've never seen so many gar surfacing as I did today they were absolutely everywhere.
  19. Good report as always. We just left Bridgeport. Caught a few crappie. A 4lb flathead with my crappie rod. Then we just sat under te bridge and caught top water fish for a couple hours. It was very entertaining. Top water but state at around noon Pretty much over at 2. Not really what I expected. No size to the top bites. Just fun
  20. Diving is a very safe sport.
  21. Decided to go Diving on Sunday. Put in at Diamond City went about a Mile up lake Vis was about 2 feet. Best Vis we saw was around Shoal Creek 6-8 feet It seemed to get better as we went down lake from D-City. Under 20 feet Vis was approximenty 0 feet couldnt even read an air gauge with it pressed up against your mask. On a good noted we saw tons of smallmouth around 10-15 in rocks on bluffs you name it they were there. Saw 2 that would have went of 7lbs never have seen a smallie that big. My brother saw them too and he guessed 8lbs... absolute monsters had to do A double take to realize what i was seeing. Didnt see any walleye at all. 2 small flat head we decided to let grow up. And Then Came across a nice 22lber we decided to take home for a big fish fry!!! Attached Thumbnails
  22. What do some of you guys use so all your different sizes of hooks and sinkers and all the little things dont get mixed. Im about sick of always having to dig through my box and separate stuff that gets mixed. I dont always leave my stuff on 1 boat so i need a box that can get turned upside down and sideways moving from boat to boat.
  23. I went to Lake O last weekend and we just fished for crappie off the dock, But we took the Ski boat out a lot and i figured it up, we drove a total of 76 miles in the boat, I dont want to know how much that ended up being....ouch
  24. We caught about 70 crappie off the dock last weekend at the 53mm Coffman Bend are. Maybe 10 were over 10 inches. Lots of action the little ones kept us busy.
  25. The hardcore people reuse and share needles. Great way to save a few bucks
