  1. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!!!!
  2. Hope you have a quick recovery!!!
  3. They were all rifle. We got them in the evening so didn't get around to taking pics until the next day and didn't bother with putting the orange back on. They were all shot within 1 mile of the Republican River.
  4. I have no idea what it weighed. We just have never got around to getting a scale. It was heavy one though.
  5. Saw where Bill mentioned being at deer camp. Thought since I get to see all you guys pics of fish down there(wishing I could be there fishing) I would show some pics of how our deer season is going up here. Here is my deer from Nebraska. Still have Kansas to hunt this year. Here is a buddy's deer........ My brother's deer......
  6. I would vote him for sure!!!
  7. This is the first I have heard of this. Really hope you get healed up as soon as possible and your knee replacement goes much smoother for you!!!
  8. Another one to try would be Phillip Stone.
  9. Signed up. Thank you!!!
  10. I thought in the other thread about this it was mentioned that a marina operator saw him thrashing around in the water but couldn't get to him in time. If that is true then I seriously doubt the poor guy is still alive.
  11. You can get any motor you want on a Charger.
  12. Been using that weedguard to open up a stuck bottle for long time. It works great for that! Would have loved to be able to make it down for the seminar. Good on Ya Dave for doing it!!!
  13. A lot of them looked like pin cushions. I can only hope they at least heal up some before you get down there again. LOL
  14. Just a warning on using the Ned; once you start it is hard to keep from using it all the time. You will find that if you start out with something else and it doesn't produce RIGHT away you will put it down and grab the ned. LOL Or if you start out with the ned you just as well put all the other rods away as you will end up just using it and nothing else. LOL
  15. Thanks Dave! I also just sent you a PM about getting some more jigs. Wished our trips would have overlapped again this year. I think we are going to come the last week of April and first week of May next year. If our trips overlap next year we will have to all get together again!
  16. We just got back from our 2 weeks on TR. As always we had a absolute fantastic time!!! I don't have much of a report as we pretty much caught our fish doing one thing and that was fishing the Ned. Mostly fished the Kimberling area. Had some 40-60 fish days and some 15 fish days; our not so good days were when we ventured away from the Kimberling area. With the exception of a couple secondary points back in coves; all our fish came off main lake gravel points in 4-15ft of water. We did catch a few on the Keitech swimbait in silver flash minnow color. The Ned fish were mostly on green pumpkin/orange and canada craw colors. Most fish were smallies with a few spots and largemouts mixed in. No real big fish but did have a few smallies that were in the 3lb+ range. We also did have the pleasure of meeting up with Donna and James again this year for a little while as well. It is always great to visit with them!! As always we can't wait to be able to get back down again!!!
  17. We took a right the other day and before we knew it we were at cape fair. LOL
  18. If you had caught it I was gonna say catfish. Store bought I wasn't sure but hadn't thoughtnof talapia so I would have been wrong no matter what.
  19. Before I take my guess on what kind of fish answer me one question; did you or James catch it or was it store bought fish?
  20. Got on the water for first time today here at Kimberling and every dang smallmouth we caught had hook marks!! Thanks to you Dave we feel like we are getting sloppy seconds!!
  21. Thanks guys. I am sure most of our fishing will be around Kimberling. I was just curious if the dingy water was lakewide or not.
  22. Since the reports are the clarity is pretty bad in the dam area; is the water a lot clearer up the James or White then what it is in the dam area? We are getting in Friday for our 2 week vacation/fishing trip and trying to get an idea of the water clarity throughout the lake.
  23. I think I know what happened why our messages didn't come through. I had replied to an old message that you had deleted to make room in your inbox; so since you had left that message it didn't show up in your inbox. What we all need to do on the forum is make sure both people are still 'active' in the message and then it will show up. When a person clicks on the message in their inbox it shows at the top of the message who is still 'active' in that message string. If it shows someone is inactive or has left the message string then you have to start a whole new private message to that person for them to see it.
  24. Just sent a new one altogether so hopefully it shows up.
  25. Hmmm; it was a reply on an older one. I will try sending a new one.
