Wife and I traded boats and the new one was finally built and ready to pick up; so we made a quick trip to Ulrich's on Thursday. With Christmas obligations we didn't have time to stay and get it on the water so it will be a long winter waiting to get it out. LOL Any way here is the new boat; Charger 210 Elite. If anyone sees us this spring swing by and say hello.

Poor Champ has his boat company bought by Johnny and now his spinnerbait company bought by Pradco. Hope there is a good counselor to help him through this. LOL

I saw on the for sale boards one of our members (cReekFishin) was advertising to do painting. He said he could paint a bull shad to look like a gill so I sent him one. Just got it and a couple other lures back and I think they look fantastic! If anyone of you need some painting done he would do you a great job. Just thought I would share since he is a member here.

That is just a picture I dug up on the internet to show how I want a bait painted. I have caught a bunch of them colored up like that in SD though. While reeling in the bluegill; I would have smallies chase them to the boat and try and grab them. Even tried to grab some gills that were over 10inches long!

Port of Kimberling ramp and the access road across the top of ramp is under water. Took a couple pics but have no idea how to get them from my phone to here.

We are supposed to be here at Kimberling until next Saturday. With the rain and storms will we even be able to get out on the lake or will there be a ton of big floaters and be dangerous to be on the water? Will fishing even be any good for a while? Would we be better off to 'cut our loses' and just head home? We will be back in july and september also so this at least won't be our only trip of the year.

Looks like we are going to be delayed on coming down until Saturday instead of Friday. Looks like we won't be able to make the tourny after all. We are bummed as we were looking forward to it. Good luck to everyone!!! -
