Wow awesome. I use to fish those Sunday torneys. There's alot of good fishermen that fish it. Due to work I haven't made it this year to donate my money lol. I've also had a hard time dialing in on that river bite.

Well maybe educating them Alittle might do them some good. I was taught at a very early age slow down for boats and don't just nose In on someone. It wasn't that I was preached about this I seen my grandpa just flip the boat around and we would hit another stretch of water or pull behind them. After asking why arent we fishing there and him saying they are already there son. I learned what he ment and have followed his lead. Guess not everyone has these values and if I can at least help 1 person understand the UNWRITTEN RULES OF THE LAKE might just save them a butt chewing in the future. Not everyone's opinions are screaming or yelling. Not saying most care but some didn't even know what they we're doing right or wrong. Most don't care like you said but some do..

Yep couldn't agree more. That 16lb sack I would venture to say came from the kimberling area. Not saying that there's not big fish in the james I've seen some huge sacks come out of there over the years. But it just seems to really be fishing hard. I'm one those boats that you see running that way and I personally appreciate you not leaking info. I'm sure the rest of the boats fill the same way. So thank you.

great idea thanks champ. I'm running Navionics on my smart phone for my gps and I'm able to save trails which I have been.what do you recommend on data? Like water temp water color wind depth I caught fish and lure ect?

Champ I'm definitely learning and loving every minute of it. I know I'll get on fish just gotta keep on fishing and trying different things.

Headed out at 7 pm lake was somewhat clear with floaters here and there. Went towards aunts creek. Water color was good and visibility 3 to 4 foot and water conditions where better the farther I got. Caught fish in 10 to 15 foot. After dark seemed like the fish were moving. They we're hard to keep up with caught some where the old shore line was and some right on the bank. I caught fish just couldn't find that keeper bite had 2 and 12 fish total. On my way back to Cape fair I knew it was going to be a interesting ride. Got to Piney and started seeing full sized trees and then the fog. Took me 45 min to get to the marina. The big stuff Definitely is moving down so everyone be safe. A big shout out to mike Weter and kirk D mike is my dad and this is the first year I'm fishing against him. These boys are on the fish. This is the second week in a roll they won it. I'm having a off year just can't seem to find them. When I finally get something going a flood hits and everything changes. Seems like you need to be on the water everyday all day to get something going. O well still had a great night and I'll keep donating my money to my dad. Guess that away to pay him back for all the stupid stuff I broke or did when I was a teenager lol. Besafe everyone and hope you have a good weekend.

All this came from people posting pictures of people with a stringer with 9 fish on it. I don't know what to call it other then common courtesy. We all know there's ton of C and R guys on here. If everyone of the knifers would just post reports and take pictures of the fish right after the catch and not brag about beenin full of egg ect.. I wouldnt think this would of happened. But we all know common courtesy is a thing of the past and people don't even know what I means anymore expecially on the lake and now on this site.

The ol champ is launched in my front yard and me and the family is throwing the ned around my flooded bushes. Lol Thanks man all is good in aurora appreciate it.
