  1. So a leader board will be on that site? Thanks much!
  2. Will there be a website with up-to-date weights per time period, to help with decision as to when to weigh a good fish? Thanks,
  3. Champ, thanks for that encouraging report. Coming down in a few days. Ready to try most any baits and you've given me a few more to add to my list. Love the jig bite but if they get it going on crank bait/spinner bait I'll be ready.
  4. You seem to grind on 'em with some solid consistancy!
  5. Any other bite on the crawler rigs? Great job.
  6. Well, I've been working on getting mine back too! And doing a a fine job of it.
  7. Always good reports. Thanks.
  8. Excellent report! That will get some folks going. Did me!
  9. I may have the secret baits, but you catch all the fish. An' that just ain't right.
  10. Thinking these may run somewhat shallower than RK Crawler. Look very good though! Like the good hooks and oval split rings. Let us know if fish like them. Thanks
  11. Dang, Bubba, that looks like new!
  12. Thought you might have used.............. Captain Nemo: Track it? I intend to catch it! or Captain Nemo: The sea is vast, he could be anywhere.
  13. Just a bit surprised that a 17-1/2" spot would only weight 2#-11oz. Nice looking fish though.
  14. Look like real good ones! Good work. Will be there in a week or so. Hope that continues. Top water should pick up too.
  15. Sorry, Bubba.
  16. Good walleye last year on Ned rig, just up lake from Baxter. You never know!? Edit: Oops, wrong lake
  17. Feather the spool Edge with my finger to control distance if cast is going too long. but whatever works for you is good too.
  18. Well, every turn of the handle on a normal retrieve puts twist in the line. And if the handle is for reeling in fish, not for shutting the bail, why does every manufacturer make their reels to operate in the manner that if you turn the handle, the bail closes. Reels could be made so they won't close the bail. Closing the bail by hand does not really make much of difference. Think that is kind of a myth. If folks get into that habit it's not a bad thing. It may or may not make any difference. Kinda depends on the position of the bail when you flip it over by hand, and if the position its in still puts a twist in it. If I'm totally wrong, someone should edumacate me on this with some specifics 'cause I don't see it.
  19. Yeah, same fish. Wish she was going back in the lake.
  20. Good one!!
  21. Thanks for the link! It does mention "flooded cedars and hardwood trees standing in the pockets and creeks", but sadly, over the years, they are slowly disappearing. Also, "As the water temperature moves into the upper 50s,........ Bass lose interest in chasing anything now...". Well that was sure not the case in 2015. Blacks, spots, SM & whites were all over the shad schools. All in all, a good article for some insight into spring bite at Table Rock. Will be giving it an extended attempt next week. Can't wait.
  22. Fun report to read anyway. Good fish. Thanks
  23. Wiggle Warts and RK Crawlers seem to be the most difficult to change out with the smaller or recessed line tie.
