You can foil/film baits with spray adhesive. If you want a pattern on the foil just roll it over something like a free weight handle. Reynolds made the best foils for this, but they stopped. Just got some "glitter film" from Spike It that may work. Craft stores have some options too. Works best on flat sided baits and stickbaits. Or has for me at least. Used to make a foil version of the sour grape rogue color before PRADCO had it.

We switched to Alltel back before VZ bought them for this exact reason. There are a few spots on the lake where I drop to 3 bars, that's about as bad as it gets.
