  2. Peanuts compared to what's going on now. And it's nowhere close to the end or I'll eat my hat. Bailouts, properly structured (i.e. loans not giveaways) are needed to keep the wheels turning.
  3. Have you considered loaning her one of your shotguns?
  4. Even worse 4:00 on Friday.
  5. You know already what I think of your abilities. And you darn well know you have my support in everything you do. How many people will you be responsible for? Because that's what it will boil down to. All of their problems will be your problem too. All of their successes will be your successes. What you do personally will shrink in importance to what your group does. Two things I learned over my lifetime of running people. Make your expectations as clear as you possibly can and stick with them. The other is one bad apple really can spoil the whole barrel. If you have a bad feeling about someone, the rest of your team probably does too. Don't hesitate to act when that comes up - and it will. Finally some real words to live by, especially as a manager. Davy Crockett's not mine "Be sure you're right. Then go ahead." You'll do well pilgrim. My very best to you.
  6. How about from now on. I never said I want them to work you like a government mule. Just enough so you guys all get another nice profit sharing check.
  7. I'm just trying to change the subject from guns to something that really matters. I want you to work. I want everybody who needs to work to be able to work. I want the stock market to take off like dear leader says it will. I care man. I care.
  8. I think Donald Trump wants to kill us all. Why else would he ignore all the warnings in his intelligence briefings books and lie to us over and over.? He can read, correct?
  9. Between a 1654 Tracker and a 1648 Shawnee for your wants I would go with the Tracker.
  10. There was a pitch fit.
  11. So who's looking forward to going back to work?
  12. šŸ˜Ž True. Most guns in the hands of civilians these days are just toys.
  13. That was uncle twoshot. That's how he became uncle onehand.
  14. Even more bad luck. Remind me to never hang out with you doing anything,
  15. You got hair.
  16. No payments is one šŸ˜Ž Quieter is another one. Not hot in the sun is another one. Doesn't stick on rocks is another one.
  17. Wow. Nothing like that kind of wind up here according to NWS. Gusts to 32 on Wednesday night is as high as they are calling for here. Stay safe. And remember how the local TV weather guessers want watchers!
  18. Grandson and I did a great float trip a few years back on the 11 point. in my Shawnee. Point to point with camping in the middle. (Don't ask me about how Mary Decker Shoal went) I've had mine on the James a few times too. They haul a lot of gear very well. They are not the best to put in, run up and fish and then run back. But for a more traditional old school jon boat style float trip - well mighty fine.
  19. One of the USMC sayings went something along the lines of it's not up to us to judge, it's our job to arrange the meeting.
  20. Other than the cop shop or deer camp where would such a place be? I guess maybe the range or a gun store. And at any rate, soft targets make the most sense for anyone looking to get their name in the record books.
  21. All true. Don't ask me to explain why the mass shootings took such a big surge in this country. But you can ask me if an AR 15 is a very effective tool for anyone who decides that's their thing. Widely available, relatively cheap, self loader, low recoil and very effective anti personnel round, high capacity detachable box magazines also readily available. So is ammunition.. The obvious answer is yes, it's a great killing tool. I'm not advocating any kind of ban on AR rifles or high capacity magazines, they're everywhere now. However, I do wish they had never been unleashed on us. But I don't get to go back in time and make that wish come true.
  22. I've been worrying for some time now about the supply chain in this country. I fear we're getting ready to find out there is no such thing as too big to fail. Even the food supply. It's way too centralized. Getting back to smaller and more spread out operations is one great way to reduce vulnerability in that arena. And not just meat production. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/tyson-foods-warns-of-meat-shortages-the-food-supply-is-breaking/ar-BB13gTZh?ocid=msedgntp
  23. I'm really glad that your company is doing well.
  24. I towed a 3000 pound camper in Colorado with a 1500 Ram. No problem. Now I tow a 5000 pound camper with a 2500 Ram Cummins. Kind of overkill. But that's the way I like it. Brakes and suspension are as important in towing as is pulling power. That's why I like the 2500.
  25. What does the spec sheet say about towing capability?
