  1. The part about wind turbines never paying out in this instance.
  2. If I was a wrench hater you'd be on ignore. I just don't buy all of your B.S. and call you on it. Don't be that guy who likes to dish it out but can't take it.

Those are really pretty. Very apropos to the inspiration.
  4. The energy costs have to be included in the cost to build and install a wind turbine. A wind turbine with a design life 20 years is a net energy producer within five to eight months of installation. Break even on total installed cost, not just energy is around five years. Do you know that the cost/MW of wind is lower than the cost /MW for new coal fired power station? Do you ever research anything or just parrot what you "understand"?
  5. Have any of you guys ever heard of wind or solar generation?
  6. Must be nice to see things in such stark black and white. No shades of gray, no reason to conserve resources.
  7. You can snag from the bank on the Osage below the dam on the east side of the river.
  8. Correct. Maybe a couple.
  9. I want to give my sincere thanks to the software developers of this site for the ignore function. No . No . No . Just pure .
  10. You just described every hybrid on the road today. You are a genius!

I am a big fan of a thick cut bone in pork chop. Known at this house as an Iowa chop. Whenever I was there to hunt lo, those may years ago, an Iowa chop was always what I ordered. The place we frequented had a homemade salad bar that had to be 30 feet long. Baked potato that came with was mostly a wasted effort.

I'm jonesing for shrimp etouffe on a waffle for my breakfast tomorrow. Dang you guys anyway...l 1
  13. Listen here now. Fried fish, Fried chicken and chicken parts, and French Fried potatoes only get so good. Boiled shrimp is that same way, done the right way. Good sides/salads. The place is really good and totally consistently predictable too. Well recommended………………………… But. If you are looking for "fine dining". Forget it. But for a good time and a good meal? Hard to beat.

Never had fish pie. I'll trade you some venison for one if you want?

That looks and sounds incredible. Big fan of Shepherd's pie but seldom get to make it here. Lamb and veal are best for meat in those things if you ask me.

On a more food related note, 100% 0n cherry to smoke chicken. Big fan of fruitwood for a lot of meat dishes. I get a lot of cherry and apple to use. And do.
  20. Flat Creek is superb - only been to the original. Dana's is solid too. Solid but not rave worthy IMHO.
  21. Little Hacienda is a gem.
  22. We loved the Candle Stick. Had several Christmas parties there when they were on top of the world, not just the top of Taneycomo. Still dream of the scallops from there.

I'm fond of the S&P set. And Marty's pink robe. Very fuzzy warm looking bro.
  24. Couldn't even get the tail in the frame. That's size.
  25. Before the fire was when it was truly top shelf. Best pizza I've had this side of Bobby Flay's place in L.A.
