  1. You ain't gettin' any of mine, sucka.
  2. Well tame rabbit, chicken, fresh eggs, new potatoes and some fresh picked green beans doesn't sound all that bad to me. Being a throwback has its ups and downs though, no arguing with that one. But honestly I would think you eat better than 99% of people who live in the city and have to go to the store and that's the only option for them.
  3. That picture box is one of the coolest things ever. Great pics and easy on the fish. Only wish I was that smart.
  4. Good job Clay.
  5. Fixed that one for you sir.
  6. With all this rain even my toenails are turning green.
  7. Lunhow came to the Cardinals from a tech firm. He claims to have been fastidious in his password protection protocols. Somebody, either him or someone at the Cardinals is full of it. http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story/houston-astros-st-louis-cardinals-jeff-luhnow-refuting-details-related-to-hacking-probe-061815
  8. I got over 8 inches in the last 24 hours at my house just North of Ozark. The James River is high enough that ramps to Hwy 60 from Hwy 65 are closed.
  9. Like you're an amateur.

    What's Cooking?

I love meat loaf. Use the bacon thing myself. Use ground venison. Also do it on the smoker. Not bad if I do say so myself.
  11. Plus I just plain old like fishing with good gear. And light gear too these days.
  12. I live just North and East of Ozark MO. I dumped about 3 1/2" out of my gauge at 7:30 yesterday evening. It had a shade under 5" in it this morning. My gravel drive has foot deep ruts washed out of it. Got up about 2:00 AM to let the puppy out for a few minutes and would hear water running in the hollow below me. Lots of roads around the house are closed due to high water. Every low spot is covered and lots of places that aren't what you would normally call a low spot. It looked like NE AR got it at least as much in the way of rainfall as we did.
  13. One thing that changed is there are a lot more people now taking fish out. Another thing that changed is what cover in the form of standing timber that was left when the lake was flooded is now for the most part, gone. Taken together, the impact is obvious to anyone who has been paying attention.
  14. You'll have to send in your resume' and an appropriate bribe donation.
  15. This thread has given me flashback nightmares to that winter I was so desperate for money to feed my young family I refereed men's rec league basketball. I have never before or since felt such fear for my safety.
  16. Green with envy here.
  17. Correct. I am, respectfully, Minister of Campaign Finance for life, Terrierman.
  18. Sorry, but you didn't read the contract did you. I can't be fired, I have to get tired of having all that money to dispense as I and I alone see fit, and resign. Or get investigated by the FBI, put in some ancient prison in New York, befriend a female prison employee, escape, not get caught and make my way to Mexico and live the life of Riley on my ill gotten gains. Either way, you can't fire me. Minister of Campaign Finance for life, Terrierman.
  19. Yes, send money to Terrierman. That is all you need to know. PM me for address.
  20. Phil, I think your rules are fine and this forum is as good as it is because of your influence.
  21. I still say heads need to roll sooner rather than later to show the organization doesn't condone the actions and won't put up with those kind of shenanigans. Or maybe the organization really does condone what was going on and nobody will lose their job and maybe get a stern talking to about getting caught and next time be more careful. I really see it as one way or the other for the Cardinals organization.
  22. No no no. I am your Minister of Campaign Finance and I will be taking all contributions for your election and dispensing them as I and I alone see fit. How could you have possibly forgotten that already?
  23. Ness for POTUS. PM me for address to send contributions.
  24. Lew's speed spin is a good reel for the money. So is Pflueger President. Pflueger Patriach is lightest and smoothest freshwater reel I have ever had in my hands. Never had a Steeze or any of the really expensive reels. Do have a Daiwa Ballistic that's at the same price point as the Patriarch and while they are both really nice really smooth reels with good drags, the Patriach is litghter. Okuma Trio is a little heavier, than either the Ballistic or Patriarch with great drag and less expensive than Patriarch or Ballistic.
