Well, I've got a pair of Maui Jim North Point, a pair of Oakley Bad Man and a pair of amber lens Ray Ban. All are polarized and I like them all. But honestly I wear the Ray Ban pair most of the time. They are a little lighter and I love the way they fit. The Bad Man is a great set of shades too, especially when it's super bright. Nothing wrong with the North Point shades either, but anymore the Oakley or Ray Ban is about all I wear. Have yet to try Costa but will if I can find a pair to fit on this giant pumpkin I refer to as my head.

I played with the family Sunday on the pontoon. Out of Mutton Creek. Saw a lot of fish - not shad - on the lowrance in a couple of coves on the State Park side of the lake. There were two places where whites or something had a wad of bait on top working through them.

Nice ones. They are the best. Cheeks and belly meat on flatheads that size are a real treat.

Rough gig. I'd be happy to take you out sometime this fall if you want. It will have to be on a weekend and after Labor Day. Just PM me and we will see if we can make something happen. Taney or White River are my best bets when the water is like it is this year.

Bigger and more stable than a Kayak. I fail to see all the concern. Wouldn't bother me to get on Taney in something like that, not in the least.

I've been in places a lot worse than St. Louis. Still did not and don't feel the need to carry a gun, then or now. It takes a certain kind of guy and I ain't him and have only met a couple who were in my lifetime.

Upper Taneycomo dropped a good two feet between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM yesterday. I was very surprised, to say the least.

Well, if he had 28 Colt Revolvers, or 28 Pennsylvania long rifles, or 28 Winchester model 12 pump shotguns or something like, (everybody gets my drift) I would call him a collector. Otherwise, you have a point.

Not so fast. Just don't outdrive your sight distance and then everybody is good. I'll post a pic or two tomorrow of what Taneycomo can look like with pea soup fog and what it looked like five minutes later. This time of year and this kind of weather can throw anybody a curve. He's right though about folks driving too fast for conditions. Happens on the highway too. Mostly due to lack of common sense.

What dude from Lake Ozark? And I personally have no problem with entrapment of poachers and illegal wildlife traffickers. I stand zero chance of getting caught in that sting.
