Headed home now from the east coast... Gonna spend the weekend in the shed working on equipt. ( possibly sneak out for a test run ) already planning a whole week off for the cooler weather in October. it can't get here fast enough......
Not to hijack a thread here but...... Any of you trollers out there use the depth hunter line with colors??? Thinking about giving it a try it would be cheaper than replacing reels.

I'm already getting the fever and am starting to get things ready.... We will get OUR lake back pretty soon with school starting.... I was in upstate New York earlier this week and it got down in the 50's at night.... Gave me some hope fall is on the way
I have spent the summer working my butt off and seem to have spent more time in NYC this summer than at home.
However I'm really looking forward to this fall and maybe a little more no a lot more free time to spend on the water. Always found reports helpful good ones and bad so I hope people will take the time to post something.
I offered to help a guy out a while back at a ramp on beaver he had his trailer backed in way too far and couldn't get his john boat on the trailer so I offered to help him and he promptly offered to kick my butt if I didn't leave him alone so I did the responsible thing and waited till he finally got it 30 min. Later.... Good thing I have turned into a responsible adult
The extreme bases are moveable. You just loosen the bolts and slide them in the track to get them out of the way. Oh and they will make you a package deal if you order several at a time
Check out extreme fishing concepts they have some cool rod holder bases that attach in the track on an aluminum boat then you can put on the rod holders you want. I have a big lowe myself and got the adjustable bases with drift master holders. If I knew how to post a link I would but I'm a little computer challenged....
Put in at 12 bridge this morning... Ended up with some real nice crappie to 14 in. Used minnows tight lining about 8-10 ft deep in 20 fow thanks for the advice f&f
That app is really cool....
I'm just setting up here in Greenland nh. Enjoying the beautiful 21 degree temp with a wind chill right around 1 hoping to get a load and head back to gods country I don't see how folks stand this cold.... Ha
