boats new the dealer put lead acid in it. fish hunter brand being a dumb i let it set most of the winter without being plugged in.bat woun't take a charge now

With the lakes being so rough, is the lead acid battery an ok choice for my tin boat? they're buried under the rod locker in the bottom of the boat. not much air down there. would it be safer with an AGM? a real rookie question I'm sure. thanks

well..........if it makes you feel pretty.😉 My personal opinion is just ride the wave or go someplace else. it's their lake too. isn't there a way to protect the docks from damage? what happens during storms? I don't own a dock or a wake boat so i don't have a dog in the fight.

I was asked the other day what i liked and disliked about mine. this was my answer i don't like the location of the kill switch. It's on the left making the lanyard interfere with driving. I'm probably going to move it. i would have upgraded the seats from the base, but I'm a large guy and the seats seem a little wimpy for me. I really like the crappie option. it give you three locations for the front seat. storage is great for me but I don't carry a lot i have a 7 in Humminbird at the console it fits great, a bigger one??? i have the fold down deck in the back, it's nice, makes a large area for the back deck for the fisherman. I have a 115 Evinrude E-tec with a 4 blade 14 1/2 x 17 prop and get about 36-38 at around 5800 rpm i went with the 1775 to keep the price down and a used OB. a 2007 with 200 hrs overall i'm very happy with my 2018 1775 impact sport.

no not yet. health problems and surgery has hindered me for quit a while. been to Mark Twain 2-3 times. Minn once. hopefully moving to Indian Point area soon. found an aprt there that suits me. mine could NEVER go into that shallow water. lol. jut as my surgery recovery was coming to an end, i shattered the windshield. now 6-8 weeks to get it in and put on.🤢 i may take it all off and try without for a while.

Been there. Many years ago took my wife to Branson boat dock, hired a guide and went trout fishing. don't remember the guides name but he was really great. said i just wanted my wife to catch fish. he took us up closer to the dam, spent the entire time in the back with my wife catching trout, then she caught a sucker, so they switched to that and they laughed like a couple a kids.hired him for 4 hours, we were out for loser to 6-7. she talked about that trip for years. i think he had as much fun as her. wish i knew his name. i loved nothing more that to hear her laugh.
