  1. That would have been big $ in kvd b. Bass thanks for the post and congratulations. Nice hogs.
  2. Wow, I mean wow.
  3. Love that night fishing, thanks
  4. I like the mlb weight in concept but not practical for many local tournaments. I use frozen gallon jugs in my 30 gallon live well that had 2 pumps and the fish seem to do well at weigh ins. Also use the reguvinator powder in live well.Is there more that I could be doing. I have fished tournaments with others that did not have big enough live wells and poor areators and the fish did not live, and the live well was to small to use frozen 1/2 gallon jugs including the fish. Maybe there should be some better regulations on live well's in tournaments and some education on how to treat your fish me included.
  5. Fin & feather carry's new Wahoo's, war eagle, & both style's of the jet in spfd,mo.
  6. 3/4 oz. Works good for me, chrome when sunny, gold & white for overcast. The Dixie is good, but a slab spoon works better for deep vertical fishing. Pure speculation on my part. I will cast and let the jet sink or use in 20'-25'. Any deeper for vertical war eagle, Shorty's, Hopkins, ect. Slab style spoons in 1/2 or 3/4 oz.
  7. Thanks for the outstanding report, hope it holds till this week end.
  8. My wife would like if I only go to sportsman's maybe 1 time a month. I kind of wish they didn't have so many cool things, I think I want, woops need. Now I have to go & check out the jet. Thanks Bill.
  9. Tired of being tired
  10. Cool, they need a system at Campbell point.
  11. Great reports, next best thing to being there. If could go tomorrow I would go up the white and try to spoon up some bass. Sounds like conditions would be good for some vertical fishing and maybe hook some bigger ones under those smaller chasers. Pure speculation on my part, but its nice to dream. I will have to wait until the Bfl on 6-25-16. Love to read the reports. Thanks to all.
  12. Nice Pict's and we'll said. The 2 1/4" x 3/4oz spoon I was speaking of has a flutter spoon shape but is thick and heavy. It is a combo of a jigging spoon & a flutter spoon.
  13. I enjoy the vertical spoon action in the rocks clear waters and I have caught just about every species of fish, usually 20' to 50' and many time's sitting over 100' plus. I believe the rock has some of the most talented vertical fishermen. I have some great days on the water while fishing with some good vertical spoon, grub & icebait fishermen and watch it happen on you're gragh is pretty cool. Seeing the fish & dropping to them is a great way to catch em fast especially in the summer and winter. I prefer night fishing the best but going vertical Shine's in the daytime many times all day. Spoons can be very versatile. Thanks for the replays. I'm always trying to improve tactics on my vertical fishing.
  14. Thanks, I will look for the old jet spoon, as I have found spoons to be very versital.
  15. Thanks, I will look for the old jet spoon, as I have found spoons to be very versital.
  16. I thank you, I thought it is a strk. King . can't find anymore.
  17. I know B. Babler has to know something on the subject.?
  18. The large 4" flutter spoons are the rage now days, and I get it big spoon big bass! I have a vintage Reaper spoon by Marlynn lure co., stamped on the spoon. It is 2 1/4" long x 3/4oz. A thick compact flutter spoon, that I would like to have some more of. I have another spoon just like it, but brand unknown and it has a diamond pattern on it. Anyone know where to find any. I did find the reaper spoon on eBay, but they must have sold. Bps makes a new spoon called flashy times spoon, 2 1/2" x 3/4oz. I will go look at. Anyone try these yet. Thanks for any spoon info.
  19. I like the telescope pole, but its always in the way. At Stockton my partner and I had a hot spot but kept getting hung up and lost our lure retrievers on the spot. Then one day found out a ****** guy had sunk bed springs and tied a big rope to it and retrieve lures, ect. From the bed springs...good grief. It must have been good bass cover because we caught many from around it and also lost many baits.
  20. Better be on your game and on fish all of the Friday night tournaments contestant's are good and know how to catch em. Weight ins are always fun except when you don't have much and you wonder how do they do it.
  21. Tigers and bears o my ??. I don't want to meet either one but there out there. Night fishing up the white I knew I could here a bear growling and something large crunching around in the woods. I think 99 out of 100 times either critter will avoid you, they think we stink.
  22. I'm like old plug, I run the line through thumb and finger and have fished nights for many years with out a blk light. In a night club tourn. my nonboater asked, where is you're blk light and when I said I don't have one, he flipped out and wanted to known how we could fish without it. We took 3rd and he managed to catch a few.I think the blk light is a help but not a neassity. When out on a point at night the light does help to not get run over and helps not throw over your partner. More pro's than cons. It would be cool to have a fluorescent braid.
  23. Great Webb site for tournament info. Thanks
  24. What is the address of this store and is it online.
  25. Thanks for the report, spfd cove to birch has always been a great area for me especially using a jig & a spinnerbait.
