  1. What a great way to spend the day! Catching fish is a plus!!
  2. Steak Inns pork chops are fabulous! And very reasonably priced. I order the chops more than steak now.
  3. I knew that was too tasty for someone not to bite!!!!!!
  4. when it's stowed it is at the bottom of the talon so haven't noticed any difference.
  5. Finally was able to publish my pictures! As you can see the ladder extends just past the bottom of the skeg and with the talon and handles I can get back in the boat now!!!
  6. Extend your right arm in the air, bend at the elbow and pat yourself on the back!!!!!!! I like that ladder because it is long / deep enough to allow you easy access. I went with a custom three step all aboard ladder because I wanted to make sure it was at least as deep as the skeg of the motor, like yours. Yours is very reasonably priced versus mine and at that price there is "NO EXCUSE" for any fisherman or woman not to have a easy to use ladder on their boat. Good find and it looks great!
  7. ^^^. Smart Man!
  8. +1 ^. Used them last year for a cover to protect the boat from the morning sun. Cut a pattern out of brown paper and took it to them. Got it back quickly and it fit like glove!
  9. Nice! Happy New Year to you and everyone else on the site!!! Im sitting here looking out at the lake and can't get my boat off the lift? Guess I'll just watch football instead.
  10. Ditto! to all and your families !!!!!! And thanks to everyone who posts reports and information!
  11. Beautiful Pic Merry Christmas everyone!
  12. ^^^ Well stated!! and I totally agree.
  13. Quill...glad everything went well. Here's to a speedy recovery!!!!! PS: you can practice flipping from a bed!!
  14. Yep! know the feeling. The wife and I got out a few hours Sat. Didn't cover a lot of water, we went to a few of my favorite spots for catching fish, but found out that the fish didn't think they were very good spots anymore!
  15. And hone the tee points before every round! ?
  16. RATS!! Nope, not the fishing lure! Finally get a break and am headed down for a quite weekend and some fishing and now I'm hearing that "the fishing is really tough" and "there is an all states fishing tournament". Guess I'll just pick up snakes off the roads this weekend as a community service! ? Oh well, I'll grab a jersey and stay in the upper Kings. Still can't beat time on the lake and fall colors!!!!!
  17. Fantastic, it's great to see Dad's investing in their kids future and the time spent with them now reaps dividends for the years to come!!!!
  18. Vernon, I hear what your saying. I did some research and determined that the All Aboard ladder was what I needed.....and I ordered a custom 3 three step version that attaches to my talon bracket and extends 28 to 30 inches into the water from the bottom of the bracket. At 67 with two artificial hips I wanted to make sure it was deep enough, ridged enough and strong enough for me to grab the rails and talon on the back to get back in. And as Bo said, I plan to test it before the water really gets cold!!!
  19. Bo, glad your back in the saddle and after them again. Good job as always and thanks for the report and information!! I hope they're still hunger Oct 7 when the boss and I are able to get back down!
  20. The Cabela's 3500 is what I have and was wearing when I fell in and believe me they work.....head up and out of the water. I'm sure I looked like a big yellow cork bobbing in the water, but I'll deal with the ridicule from friends and family versus the alternative!!
  21. Well, I learned my lesson the hard way....................as usual! I generally always wear a life jacket, but now you can remove "generally" from that statement!! And I have a ladder ordered for my Ranger that will be installed before the water temp drops.
  22. Glad to hear your doing better and back on the water!!
  23. Glad to hear that your on the up and up. Do what they tell ya and you soon be back telling us what to do (fishing)!!!!
  24. Thanks again for the great looking baits........I hope I can do them justice when I get on the water!!
