I know the feeling.......I grew up in Okla and am used to beating the banks at Okla and Tx lakes..........This forum has been a blessing to me on information on how to fish Table Rock. Now I just need to make the time to put it to use.
Hey Muddy, your right across the creek.............ah, roaring river from me. If you see a silver ranger in that area, stop and say hi. Or, if you fish by the red dock around the bend, I'm the upriver side of the dock.

We will be there. Still don't think we'll be fishing but confirming that we are bringing an extra table, ice and paper towels. Probably a dessert depending on how well I sweet talk the wife............otherwise it'd be from the closest C-store by Little Debbie!!!!!
I have the talon,,,,,,,,,no hydro lines, reservoir/extra weight or space in the back of the boat and easy to unhook and take off if you want to leave it in the garage. I won't get into it's use's on Table Rock
I fish with someone almost all of the time........wife or son or son-in-laws. I have gotten into fishing more since I hired Bill B for a guided trip and took along my wife. She fished with me quite a bit before, but she had some real success on the guided trip.
That trip cost me a boat dedicated to fishing rather than fishing from a pontoon (thank you Bill ) and I don't have a problem now buying new lures or fishing equipment......................but now I have to buy at least 2 of everything! We are looking forward to the spring and enjoying a sport that we can do together, no matter how we do as far as catching fish. This is a great place to learn to fish Table Rock!!!!
Bill, I absolutely agree with what you stated. I for one appreciate the information and knowledge that I have gained here. I hope that a few critical remarks do not discourage the people who are providing knowledge for us amateurs. If you have a problem and feel you have to respond.....do it in a respectful manner and preferably in a private PM
Good deal if we don't have to trailer over. My boat sits on a lift in the upper Kings....I'd have to take it off, load it on the trailer and tow it over; then repeat when it's over. Don't think my wife and I are a threat to win anyway We are more interested in meeting the members after the event. I/we would also like to contribute if we can to the cookout, if someone would let us know what we could do!!!

Gonna give it a try this weekend. Wife told me I wanted to go to the lake!! If you see a Silver ranger with Hummingbird on the side and my wife and I beating the water swing by....we would love to meet you!
Think I'll wait on the heads, was wondering if the keeper would work better than glue.........and the fishing budget is getting a little low over the winter (per the boss) , gonna have to find a bigger box to haul the new gear to the lake anyway
If anyone tries them I'm sure we'll get a report!
Thanks
Larry
Cabela's has a new Z-man hook "Shroomz jig" and stick bait 'TDR stick bait" .............new this year for the Ned rig fishing
Items: WWS-13-6028 and WWS-13-6032
What do you think of the hook? Don't want to leave the stick bait on or I wouldn't think the holder would last very long!!
I agree with J-Doc. I've been sitting here reading about the fishing and looking at the pic's of the fish and wishing I could get out. When I look out the window all I see is snow on the ground!
One thing I'm beginning to realize is that buying the boat may have been the cheapest part of fishing Cabela's is going to have a great Jan. in sales!
The problem I have is I have to buy 2 of everything..............one for me and one for the wife!!!!!
I'll second that. Wife and I stopped by to load up on the jigs and received a good deal of information on how to fish them. We enjoyed meeting you and all the help!
