it also means spending a little more for a safer product but most folks are still against that issue when it comes to their tackle. I doubt lead based tackle will ever be illegal in MO. We have tons and tons of the stuff still in the ground just waiting to be mined.

Had not planned on going today but on a last minute decision I fished up the theodosia arm from 1-3. First and only stop was half way back in a cove where a handful of gulls were diving on bait. Found a hungry school of 12-16" largemouth willing to bite a shallow susp. jb . Fish were very aggressive, pausing the bait for just a couple seconds between twitches. Boated a couple dozen but only 3 were keepers. All largemouth. All released. These bass were on a 50-60' stretch of bank and structure oriented. The colors on these bass were awesome. Bright copper, gold, and yellow with black accents. Wt 42.9

true, I know of some lesser skilled anglers who tournament fish and throw the rig 100% of the time, all day , in every tournament it's allowed. They have told me that between the 2 anglers in the same boat, they would lose an average of 3-4 rigs EACH, per tournament. I'm still throwing the same Terminator umbrella rigs I bought 2 years ago. Even if those guys get a check, which is rare, they just use all that prize money to buy more rigs to lose in the next derby..

If this ever happens to any of "us" all you need to do is have the person in the water put their foot on the cavitation plate , let them hold on to the boat/motor, somewhere, and then use the power trim to raise them up higher so they can get in the boat easier,remember that !!

thank you for the info. I'm not too familiar with how fast the water warms on that side of the lake. . it almost hit 50 in a few coves not that long ago on the lower end

just a quick post of current conditions and water temps would be good too As soon as somebody up there says it's 52 degree water i'm headed north lol or is it already???? What are the water temps in those places,anyone know?

yes, that works too don't know if it catches more big fish, but it catches fish, the whole worm, half a worm, 3/4 , doesn't matter really it all works at one time or another light weight ,heavy weights all have their time and place. "the ned" is all about little and light though..some days a 1/3 of a zero/zinker can be better than the 1/2 size we always called it the 'stubby grub". bondy baits makes a finesse ned rig type lure actually called the stubb grub

tail dropping stickers are the way to go ,especially on high pressured waters where most angler's jb's are probably sitting horizontal, or nose down. Just gives the fish a diff. look from the "norm"and, it stays in the strike zone better. There are times I like mine to perfectly suspend and seesaw while presented half moon. When the susp. super rogues first came out I bought a bunch and went about my usual "how can i modify this bait to make it better" spell, lol After a few days of trial and error, I finally figured out how to get the susp. super rogues to "seesaw" or 'teeter totter" w/o moving forward in cold water. During the pause the bait just sits there SLOWLY rocking back and forth like a seesaw. The fish like it too! It can't be done with any other version of susp. rogues. I've tried.

texture and inconsistency are issues I run into with some of the zman plastics, especially the TRD's. I do 100% of my zman ordering online because nobody I know of within 50 miles of me carries zman. I had to buy every color to find what I was looking for texture wise. Why one color TRD had 3x as much salt than another color needs to be addressed at the factory some colors are just right, others have more salt than plastic it seems, and the rest have hardly any saltiness
