  2. Went back and didn't catch or see a thing.
  3. If you go to to notification and turn it on it will update you with when and who Like's your post.
  4. I didn't think it started until next friday
  5. When I was down last the trout were only hitting if I'd twitch at the end of drift. So that makes sense Phil
  6. I don't know about a bulldozer but possibly a look into fixing some of the stream. maybe add some cleaning stations and a catch and release section too.
  7. They look similar very similar . . . O think both are great!
  8. What access did you start at? There were some nice ones down from the park but water was gin clear that day. Need some rain.
  9. Buffalo would be the best guess. They will eat a minnow or night crawler if you lead them good.
  10. Used to love fishing the river in the winter down there! That would be awesome. I look forward to some changes.
  11. If you like your trout UN tampered try crane creek... that's what I do lol also with different strains in there together eventually they will cross. I don't even think crane trout are still pure mcloud. Mdc stocked fish in there too. Sounds good though for fishing the eleven point that they are making big efforts.
  12. That's disturbing. Maybe it's just from.the water stranding them when it dropped out so low this week.
  13. I may do a triple creek day and hickory Capps and roaring in a week or two .
  14. Forgot to mention all the bwo that were flying around. I didn't have dry setup with me or I would've tried it for sure. They were thick in spots. I'd say size 22
  15. Had a few hours before work so I hit the creek at both wire road accesses. Good day red zebra midge was the winner with a bugger also taking one.
  16. Father in law says it was from hatchery in Verona and over time they made it all the way down to where I found them. I am going out there tomorrow morning to try to get one to eat a fly and to break in my new waders. Ill take the camera so I can share if I catch one,
  17. nice report!
  18. Scud and sow bug patterns never fail on taney. Not sure about night time I'd say big and ugly in dark colors would get it
  19. Not that stream exactly but a tributary of that stream much further down. I'd say that's where they originated from for sure though.
  20. I may have stumbled across a trout stream with a self sustaining population. I was having a picnic near a clear spring creek in Lawrence county when my wife and I decided to go for a walk. We looked in the water and there they were. Apparently there was once a trout hatchery up stream from there and they have been there ever since. According to my father in law anyway.

  22. EAch boy needs a stringer, each boy needs a light action spinning rod equipped with four pound test, if you are primarily bait fishers get some minnows and try zone three at Suzy hole up to bridge and down to river. Bennett is better when there are fewer people so try a weekday. )Thursday thru Sunday trip gives you a weekday to practice lol good luck. Chain stringer or bag. Put their names on them as well
  23. Capps always produces in the late fall and early winter for me. Has anyone ever caught much in the late summer early fall? I will be that way next week sometime so I may just try it out and see. Ill post if I find any fish. Last trip this spring brought the only brown ive ever caught down there. It was stocker sized at about nine inches.
  24. Great pictures John! Glad you got to use you aquarium photarium!
