    Sometimes I will drop a small fly below a caddis or a hopper if I am fishing with a noob. But mostly if I fish two flies its a double scud rig with a drop shot or just two heavy bead head nymphs. If fishing a bugger usually only one fly. On crane sometimes a hopper dropper rig will work well on the fast drop offs and ledges as it will suspend the nymph long enough to hold it on the ledge for a second. Mostly just euro or drop shot style nymphing works best for me

    She fooled a real nice female browns outlet one yesterday. Close to three anyway.

    Fly of the day goes to tan and gray scuds. Just got it done. Outlets packed with fish and big pods cruising the shore line. Sandy set me straight on fishing the pods of roving giants. I always struggled with those things but now have a good grasp. Its much better to be away from tje outlet rodeo . I started at outlet two at sunrise but quickly got over ran. Did meet a nice man named AJ. Help me snap a few pics.

    They werent running but a tiny bit of water this morning. Caught several nice rainbows on the big streamers before sunrise. Then moved over to the browns above and below outlets one and two. Landed a brilliantly colored brown and some really fat rainbows. Fished with Sandy most of the morning and she caught some really decent fish as well. Beautiful morning lots of fish. Also met a legend Wendell heard. He fished along side Sandy and I for about an hour. Everyone catching fish. Lota of browns. No giants but some respectable fish.

    I have several in the truck already. Andrews boss called him this morning and told him they were starting a new project tomorrow so he won't need them now. I have a back pack full of stuff 😆

    Ive caught several on the big streamer now. And caught a few from taney. Lost a giant in the dark couple years ago. We shall see

    It my copy Friday started it last night. Almost done. . . amazing how many fish Rick caught over three pounds. Lovely story telling and well written. You think youre really into fly fishing until you meet someone like him and realize you aren't even close to scratching the surface of the intensity with which you can get absorbed by it.

    I may switch to two if its really tough. Im throwing streamers in the dark that morning may just do that all day 😆

    I have had days where I was catching fish on 4 lb tippet and switched to two and doubled the catch rate. Broke off twice as many too 😆

    You can use bait just have to think about what zone you are in like a trout park 😆 the mouth of fall creek up to dam is no go... Below that you can use anything bait wise

    Heres a thought.. . maybe politely inform the rule breaker ... If they seem nice and switch tactics let it go. If they get rude or argue take a picture and send to agent or too this forum. Then we can all watch out for them. We can't even get people to be nice on stream how can we expect rules obedience 😆

    I made the eyes and the dubbing . super quick and easy pattern very light weight easy to cast. Throws excellent profile moves like a deceiver .

    Revisited this pattern after binging Galloup videos... This think looks sexy in the water like a little 🌈
