    It is very good for branson, as the last time i drove down the 76 strip, there were more abandoned or for sale buildings than there were open places. I just wish it was for something besides golf

    saw a guy launch his boat out of cedar ridge awhile back, when he gagged the throttle he didn't realize his engine was turned, and he flipped the boat.makes for a bad day

    I can see where rod building can be overwhelming, as I haven't even started to build one yet, and i feel that way.

    I'm leaning towards a spinning rod, something to use for a dropshot/split shot. I prefer at least a 7' rod most of the time. I would probably go with a full grip,as i'm going to start wrapping my handles with lizard skins.

    I would just like to build a rod, the way i want it, and to have the satisfaction of catching fish with something i made. I found some rod kits in the mudhole catalog, didn't know if it was worth it to buy one of those kits.

    Without talking to someone face to face I can understand where the banter could be missed, in the future i will try to make it more noticeble.

    It was intended as a little friendly banter, but i guess you didn't catch that. And I totally agree with you on the jersey deal, I tend to make jokes about the guys who wear them.

    how much cost is involved with building your own rod, I've always been interested, just wasn't sure where to start
