  1. I'm not the right person to say much here because I never had the privilege of meeting Guido in person, but having grown up around Laurie I know what him and his family have done for Lake of the Ozarks fishing and the community. Hope the family's doing alright. Rest in peace, Guido.
  2. GP trick worms are just as bad, I'll send you a mess of those too.
  3. Easier to fool if you know where to find em. Plug what's visibility like on your secondary?
  4. If I could get out today you’d have a hard time getting me to set my jerkbait stick down
  5. thanks for the heads up. senko season right around the corner!
  6. ^^^ So true.
  7. What I was trying to say is that LOZ gets more churned up by these ocean going vessels than any COE reservoir like Stockton can. Anybody complaining about pleasure boaters on Stockton is just looking for something to complain about.
  8. Stockton's main lake doesn't even compare to the churn of LOZ in the Summer. Stockton gets rough when mother nature decides to blow rollers, LOZ gets rough when 300+ ocean vessels decide to plow to and from every lake front bar on the water.
  9. You do know where you're talking about, right? Don't get me wrong I hope the bill passes and makes an impact, but they wouldn't have made a Netflix series out of the place if people were good at obeying the law there
  10. I’ll take the walleye 🤣🤣🤣
  11. except the raiders
  12. Crazy, that’s without a doubt south buck so I figured it was you. Bunch of high school yahoos I used to roll with spent a good amount of time partying on the land on that point... I did not partake.
  13. that you @buckcreekmike ? I'd recognize south buck with one eye open!
  14. chain link and cheap pad lock?
  15. So next time I come down we’ll leave the jerkbaits on deck and rip some lipless cranks? 👍🏻
  16. Dandy spots! Love me some hard headed LOZ footballs!
  17. Hey you know by good enough I wasn’t implying some people settle for less, some people think they need more than they really do. You know the Gravois like the back of your hand, so you don’t need expensive mapping to put a sack together. An out of towner with money to burn to make him feel like he’s got a competitive edge may think he “needs” it.
  18. I've seen the free Navionics app in action on LOZ and wasn't impressed, but like anything, you get what you pay for. They're using pre-impoundment cartography, so the chances of those contour lines accurately depicting the bottom aren't going to be good in many places. But for the low cost that's good enough for some. Garmin's lakevu hd ultra maps give you 6" contour lines generated by their survey boats within the last few years using scanning sonar, and the ability to color shade different depth ranges is pretty killer... you just gotta pay to play.
  19. You mean compared to Garmin? http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20171027005039/en/Garmin®-acquires-Navionics®
  20. Those pics alone should stir anybody with a conscience in the MDC to stick their neck out!
  21. Shame that bear had to die, black bears ain’t much to fear when given their space.
  22. This coupled with the fact that on paper, you've got consistent tournament sacks that lead anybody reading from a distance to believe the population of bass are thriving. I don't see an end in sight, unfortunately. I looked up Kentucky Lake's October 2017 tournament listing for sh*ts and gigs... eight tournaments. Eight.
  23. No objections here!
  24. Yup. She wasn't the only keeper in the yak this morning, just the biggest!
