I too really enjoy the setting at Riley’s Station, and my place is nothing more than a glorified garage. It don’t compare to Riley’s and being able to listen to the river and the ambiance of the lodge (unless you like cars )...., but if it gets us together to fish on a date most can make, the gang is always welcome! That’s actually a good idea. Might be something those with campers might Consider. This way we can segregate folks a bit better. Even though I can host a bunch it would probably be best to limit the total to each area to say two and one person in the bedroom unless it’s a family deal. I have space for a few campers

to paraphrase Chevy Chase.. "We have a pool and a pond.. The Pond would be better for you" besides if that room host any boat it will be Herty Gerty But I'd be willing to make her sit outside for a few night or three to accommodate the crew . I did see some new Victoria Secret masks if anyone is brave enough to bring along their fair maiden.

I could host a bunch of people (snorers can have the workshop area) There is a bedroom that has two Cots. The main room has plenty of space for 5-6 on the floor and the boat room could host a couple of cots as well... the snore room can sleep 4-6 comfortably I claim the couch in the main room at my place. BYO cot or bed roll. I have two futons that are not claimed yet. I know Mike usually brings his cot in the main living area. The snore room has been carpeted so it looks a bit nicer than the pick with the fly tying / drafting table. bathroom rules... If your aim is such that you can not guarantee 100% of all liquids are contained in the bowl and no mess on the floor so us bare feet folks don't get a wet surprise when we need to use it...You clean it up before you exit - its only fair. and if you've had too much to drink its probably best you sit... I don't want any broken hips due to slip and fall from wet floors Dogs are welcome. We let Mike stay....

I'm still planning on being there. Will be staying at my place in Mtn. Home. Might need more boats this year to ensure proper spacing. Boat Spacing Something Like This: Fisherman - Cooler full of Beer and Twinkies - Fisherman (or pick your pronoun) (... just dont mess with the Twinkies a Twinkie is a Twinkie is a Twinkie and will be even if they add peppermint and call it a holiday special!) Ready to get into the Twinkie Zone!! Fish on!

Storms last night are going to keep me busy tomorrow standing back up my corn... worst part is everything down was either just starting to pollinate or only had a week of tassel with silk just beginning to show. Both me and the Cream & Sugar have the sads today

Can you see the ones hidden in the other picture down low to the ground? In the picture that doesn’t show any visible mushrooms it’s the dead tree for this to the back, zoom in on the weeds

Cant remember the taste! Does it have a bitter finish? I'd use this for my lunch wraps!

We'll see how they play out on resale value with the whole Covid-19 and folks wanting to retreat to the burbs There is a method to the decision making madness.. And some valuable lessons learned! Buyers might not like them and if they dont I will repurpose the lumber and spread the bed fillings in the planting around the house! win win... Just not this planting season (failure as far as I'm concerned)

I too have cats pooping in the raised beds.. but the worst offender is the local Fox squirrel who likes to hide the slices of stale bread the neighbor throws out for the birds. Digs a nice hole but does a lousy job of hiding the goods he absconded off with! The deer have taken their toll on some of the goods but its under control now.. The corn is all over the knees and the earliest is waist height already.. Getting some nice showers today... have one plot I started on last night that needs some attention.. crab grass is taking off... will get that sorted out on Fathers Day!
-
Got lots of Beans, Maters, Taters, Zukes, Cukes, Onions, Mellons, Squash, Indian Corn, Sweet Corn, Cabbage, Beets and Carrots coming along. lessons learned... The choice for raised bed mix has left me fighting dryout conditions..Not enough soil in the mix... Ended up getting some main line and drip line and emitters to help.... NEXT TIME I'll just put in the ground and not waste the resources with Raised beds.. They're all fine I guess, if you have soil that will hold moisture, but I gotta say if you have good ground and enough space... Till a plot! or 4 The tilled plots of Iowa soil are eating the raised bed "Potting Soil" for lunch.. all these plants were planted the same time.. Look at the Cabbage and tomatoes vs the plots with the metal cages.. They are 3-4 times as big. All fed the same.... fancy smanshy stuff from the local Nursery. Will not do that again. I'll just dig up soil and load the boxes... Will likely do that if I'm still at this location next year... Just change the ratio of soil to be closer to 90% instead of 20....Too much drainage.

he in fact does not argue the location, he makes an argument that any number of coordinates run through the pyramid (wow home run right there) all while espousing the same talking point Egyptologist's say about the pyramid and its builders buy offering up a cubits notion..."If" The Pyramid is way more ancient then academia is willing to admin too (hurt too many feelings) then all of his postulating is out the window. But hey....Its my conspiracy and I'm sticking with it.. I just appreciate discussing the topic. It is very intriguing. And @mitch f I think the problem with that reasoning might be that the measurement is to true north.... (a bit further than 300 yds...tough to pull a string to that point in the sky). As an astronomical alignment it is significant... especially even if we stick with the text book date of construction of the Pyramid.

As I have followed this and have read a number of books on the subject (including the debunking counter points. Some have credence, most are bitter swipes because they were challenged) and personally rolled my eyes listening on Dr Zahi Hawass "Explain" and push the "accepted" theory that the great Pyramid was the last and its prescribed date of origin, ....there is actually lots of evidence its the other way around, that the Great Pyramid was the original and the others were failed attempts to replicate it. Some interesting point on Graham Hancock web site by Scott Creighton and Gary Osborn - Part 1 https://grahamhancock.com/creightons3/ Part 2 https://grahamhancock.com/creightons4/ While this is not the evidence, here are some cool things about the pyramid.... I love ancient cultures and Aliens Perfect alignment to the 4 point of the compass.. .06 off in alignment (3 arc min) - More accurate than the Modern Paris Observatory Designed and built with Precession in mind (earths wobble on its axis) .... (Zep Tepi - Pyramid text talk about the first time) This takes 20+ Thousand years to complete the cycle.. The start of the cycle would be the first time 0 - The beginning, so you would have to go half of that to hit the high point 10,000+ years. (if you are following the north star you would see this precession - rise to the apex then fall back to the start) Robert Buval discovered and that turning back time (I think it was 10,500 years ago) in the night sky (thank you technology) the Giza complex design and layout (all the pyramids) line up exactly with their counterpart stars in Orions belt... (Osirus Orion) are all over the pyramid texts. the nile spilled into the milky way, The Sphinx (lion) looked upon his Celestial Zodiac in the spring equinox. The kings chamber and the shaft that exits lined up with the kings star and the queens Chamber and its shaft lined up with the queens star The Pyramid incorporates the dimension of the earth in its dimensions.. lots of link on this. its latitude 29.9792458 deg N is the Speed of Light. That's just a few.. there are tons more. BTW if you like this stuff.. Graham Hancock, Robert Buval, John Anthony West, Zecharia Sitchin.. Now lets talk Sumer....and the Sumerian Texts...Now that's an interesting read.... If you're into reading the oldest know writing on the planet ....Spoiler... There are aliens

Well isnt this interesting.... Not a conspiracy mentioned....Hmmmm! OK..I'll play.. and couch this as a conspiracy. You are all being played who insist on digesting what you are spoon fed on TV... !!!!...TURN IT OFF! (psst.. You'll lead a happier life) But just to piss off the TDS crowd cause I think its delicious. Please find something wrong with this logic... Not that you cant!!! I'm sure you'll try.... @ColdWaterFshr I'm guessing you are lost on the absurdity of the animals posting the signs right? IE: posting the sign on the same side of the fence as the animals
