    I'm trying to "tune" my jerkbaits. someone please correct me if i'm wrong, don't you normally want the bait to sink slowly in a slightly nose down position.

    in addition to all of the great tips already, i like SK Elite buzzbaits early mornings, something with the "grass cone" makes it squeak more. I have always done pretty good on just a senko, too

    it's not in your head, I always have something on line with purple on it at stockton

    i have noticed on stockton if i use a contrasting color of trailer( EX: green pumpkin jig/PB&J trailer) I get more bites.

    Tattoos

    Tattoos are just a way to express yourself, now granted some people just shouldn't be allowed to have tattoos. But i believe if you want a tattoo, at least go to a professional, not some back alley joint. Tattooists(did i spell that right?) are artists, just like someone who paints, just a different kind of canvas. I have several tattoos and consider them all an art piece.
