Dang Mike, your running from NWA, and im about to make a move down that way. I was born/raised a rock throw from Lake Texoma, and have fished all over Texas. Your in a good area down there. Good luck with the new job/living changes.
Fished Aunts area last evening. Started with a 12' depth crank throwing into the bushes. Caught a few fish right away. Nothing on the spinnerbait. Switched over to a TR worm and started catching fish on the first cast. Fished a bank close to the ramp and caught 10 or so within 45 minutes. Most 12" fish but a few keepers. So if those baits you listed dont produce, try the worm.
Haha, thanks for the confidence builder buddy. Next time im gonna throw a chicken nugget all night. Tho the fishing was tough, it was very peaceful out there. My first night tourney in over 15 years. Forgot how enjoyable it is. Thanks for joining me out there. Next time i wont show up at 6:57pm for a 7:00pm tourney. Felt bad for my truck as it got a work out coming from Nixa in that short amount of time.
Thanks for having us out guys. Will be back.
Great informational report. Im sure you would do it all again if given the chance. The "i should have tried this" thoughts enter every one of us. Glad you got on some fish. That lake is tough in these conditions. Soon everything will be normal, and guys catching 38" walleye and 19" crappie. While im still catching 13" bass and thinking "i should have tried that". Good job Oberst
Ive used treated for the past 25 years. Never have kept a boat long enough to see outcome, but those i replaced had treated already with no worries.
I used Lowes carpet several years back. Its just for bunks so works great.
I wrap all 4 sides, and ends, then stainless staples. Never an issue.
That would be great. I will drop any plans I have to make sure I help at least my fishing and itI will drop any plans I have to make sure I help at least by fishing in it
Seen Hank was at the Lews store yesterday. He in town to fish with a disabled youth and to film his show. Have really admired Hank for over 25 years, and to see he is still doing these things for kids is great. Look for him on the water today and tomorrow.
