Haha we are creatures of habit. Had some amazing mango tango today though. And Mr. BH I'm so antsy for Tuesday I gotta do something to control the jitters. I was trying to micro fish in the surf earlier till the wife yelled at me lol.

Rained all day today, but we're trying our hardest to drink all their budlight lol. Gonna shoot for a marlin on tuesday. They are in season so fingers crossed.

Heard weather is crazy, beats shoveling snow out ofthe boat last weekend lol

Finally got a vacation in minus fishing... saw a guy with a cardinals hat and he's a member here and lives in Springfield. Small world and again such a cool site when we can come this far south and find fellow ozark angler members. Got afull day charter booked for Tuesday with just us boys. Hoping to find some marlin and sail fins

Seth summed up nicely the rest of our day Saturday. His results were much better than mine lol. Another amazing thing about this site is I'd never even know who Seth was much less get a chance to spend a few awesome days on the water in his good company all thanks to Phil. Was a pleasure @Seth, and can't wait to do it again sometime. Hopefully with less water so we can log those night hours in.

No big fish for me this weekend. Seth caught some nice rainbows today but nothing huge. I def needed better luck today. We ate a wave at launch on the back of the boat which lucky for us soaked some of our rods which then froze up on the way up lake. Braid on my jerkbait rod got the worst of it lol. From there it was trying to get ice out of reels and had to respool the braid... I boated one 12 inch trout... That's it for this guy. Just about anything and everything that could go sideways for me did, but that's just the way it is. I'd hook a solid fish and watch him pop off at the boat. I literally had a cloud over me all day. Snags, lost lures, hot mess of iced line and reels, you name it, it found me lol. Seth said it was because there's too much light out, and he may be on to something lol. I am a creature of the night down here usually lol. Seth and my buddy Brandon both caught fish, but wouldn't say we hammered them. After all my misfortunes I pretty much quit on the tourney and threw a big x rap monster hunting. We caught a few trolling the big crank baits but they were all pretty small. Just lots and lots of water. Had to really work to get it down to the bottom. They were there though, I just couldn't dial in today. Def still have a ways to go when it comes to boat fishing down here. Besides all of that had a blast still, got to be a net boy for Seth, and spent an awesome day on the water. Phil put on a great tournament for an awesome cause. If you've never had a post tournament meal from the great folks at Lilley's you are missing out. A big thanks for all they do. With the water level where it's at we're skipping night fishing tonight. Even the holes I know you can fish out of at 4 units are under water, and honestly with the flow it's a bit sketchy... Not the safest conditions right now. Heck Brandon is already in bed already. I guess I'll get a good night's rest for once when I'm down here. Pics are non existent as it was cold this morning after shoveling out there boat. Seth ran his go pro through and I ran over too so we'll try to get some video up.

Hahahaha, He's still kicking buddy. We just got back in for the day. I'll drop a report here in a bit once I warm up. I stunk it up so bad today I might as well worn a banana suit. Ran an absolute circus out of the bank of the boat... Seth got 3rd and my buddy Got 1st in the novice division... I won a duck if that tells ya anything :). It's a really nice duck though. Gonna look great in my office. A humbling reminder. Lol

Caught some in the sleet last night jigging by outlet one and up by cable. All dinks... The wind and the sleet put us to bed early, but at least we got a nice warm morning for the tournament!

Fishing was so so for us today. Caught fish pretty consistently when we started out and got progressively slower as the day ended and wind picked up. We caught fish on just about everything. Jerk baits, jigs, trolling crank baits via the Doty method Only caught rainbows, no browns or fresh water after multiple runs up to the cable. Fished mostly trophy area, but did run down to monkey island later with not much to show for it Fish caught were all pretty decent, Seth lost probably the nicest fish of the day right at the boat, but overall what I would call a slower day. Wind in the afternoon got real ignorant... We're baking some lasagna then gonna go hit the cable for a bit and try to catch some Walters.

Yeah we'll likely start up there here in about an hour or so. Thanks for the tip.

On our way down this morning. Amped up for an awesome weekend. Finally met up with Seth so hopefully we can get into them. I'll try to keep this up to date with fish pics too.

Those are some awesome looking jigs there sir. I'd think some stout piano wire might do the trick? Not sure how it would hold up though.

Well hopefully the forecast is wrong about the rain coming this Friday . Gonna be Chilly on Saturday too, but not quite JigFest Cold... Phil I'm guessing they are going to run 5 gates and 3 units until they get TR back to 915?

They still have all 5 gates open? The website states 1000cfs, but I'd imagine it's more with 5 gates open...

Saw they slowed generation a bit today. Looks like 3 units and then the additional 1000cfs from the one gate left open? Seems like a weird pattern... Still watching the weather down there trying to anticipate what conditions are going to be like. I guess we should just roll with it like always, and try not to overthink it

AWS should have a purge grace period. At least with our dealings with them, they should have some failsafes in there for when a developer goes rogue and tries to nuke everything. Should be able to turn the account back on I would hope. Fingers crossed!

I too had about the same issue BH had. It started with just a few members avatars and Duane's pictures. Checked in my other phone and it was worse all pictures and avatars were not showing... Wierd.
