  1. Flippin, sounds like you certainly had a better day. I went out on Monday from the dam and headed into Long Creek. Bill Babler was correct - most banks have been pounded. Saw a lot of boats still pounding away at the banks. I fished main lake cuts and windy points down past long creek boat dock. Only caught 4 fish all on a bluegill colored chatterbait in <10 fow. Just one keeper. Water temp was 55.6 at the dam to 62.2 in one of those cuts in the afternoon. Water has better color past the 86 bridge. Still plenty of slime around the dam. Mike
  2. Flippin, sounds like a lot of people are having the same luck you are. I’m gonna try tomorrow around the dam area and see if I can catch any. Mike
  3. Shark bait, with as much pressure on the lake lately it was not a bad couple hours for you. what was the water temp up there? Mike
  4. Dblades, shhhh! Bass do not spawn down at the dam end of Table Rock. Mike
  5. WW, congratulations. Mike
  6. Great pictures of you guys having fun. Mike
  7. Quill, thanks for the information. Great pictures. Mike
  8. MoCarp, who’d you play for in that picture? I recognize those hairstyles. Mike
  9. lol. Mike
  10. Between this post and Mr. Babler’s post I learned that I should move away from the bank and fish those trees behind me during the prespawn. Mike
  11. fshndoug, Champ is not a soccer guy. He has made those comments before and for those of us who love the game of soccer, well we just let it go. When the average soccer player runs 7 miles during a game, most people would consider that player an athlete. I played and then coached for years. Some love the game and some don’t. It’s all good. Mike
  12. David, nice report. Great details and pictures. Now don’t wait 8 years to come back. Mike
  13. IL, nice healthy looking fish. Mike
  14. What bluebasser said. The weather report for next week looks like it may be a continuous warming of the water. Might still be a prespawn pattern. Mike
  15. Jerry, congratulations. Sounds like you got into them. Mike
  16. Bo, I certainly agree with you. We fished Saturday from 10am to about 2pm in the dam area and had two dinks to show for it. Talked to a MN fisherman who caught two on an a-rig. We fished secondary points with crank baits, spinnerbait, jig and jerk bait. The water rise has slowed our bite a bit. But it was still nice to get out on the water. Mike
  17. BO, I tip my hat to you for going out on a day like today. It appears the weather affects those who fish more than the fish. Great pictures. Mike
  18. Co-angler, congratulations and welcome to the forum. Mike
  19. Matt, sounds like a good time. How did your arms feel on Monday after throwing the a-rig all weekend? Mike
  20. Dirtyeggroll, sounds like you guys determined the fish were on a full tackle box pattern. Reach in the tackle box and pick something to throw. Mike
  21. RedcrawRK, congratulations on the win. Welcome to the Forum. Mike
  22. abk, I knew you were pretty busy. I put a note on the SUV with the attached trailer in the driveway but I guess the wind blew it off. Congratulations on your tourney results. Mike
  23. Quill, I saw that too. Patlock and I went fun fishing Saturday and happened into that no name cove he is famous for. Many boats parked on every point. We did manage to catch 5 fish. All keepers but no huge size. Moonshine’s parking lot looked like a summer weekend. Mike
  24. dblades, nice looking fish. Mike
  25. Nice fish. Mike
