Today would be a nice day on the lake..32 degrees feels like 27 degrees, and snow headed our way, low clouds, wind out of the east at 5mph.

Use to fish heck out of the Zara spook on the grass flats in Florida...use to put a little 1/16 feather jig on the back of it..I have a Zara spook as a key chain now for my boat key..., it's probably 45 years old....lol

I think maybe this might some it up somewhat..when to use and not use micro eyes...of coarse this is someone else's opinion.... My lews rod has the micro eyes but they are progressive in size...IM8 rod.. ...

The micro eyes on the rod i was looking at are all the same size, they seem as small as what would be on the tip of the rod all the way down to the reel...did not know if the smaller eyes by the reel would effect casting and performance...guess im still old school.

I won't be out there,finishing putting motor back in my truck, changed all the timing chains in it only had 251,000 miles on them. Raining here at home also.

Opinions on micro eyes the full length a a fishing rod, was looking at a rod that had micro eyes near the reel all the way to the tip and they appeared to be the small ones the full length.

I use a Shakespeare ugly stick 7 foot rod medium 49.95 at walmart...lol... i also use a lews laser pro speed stick IM8 medium heavy fast taper 6' 10"..

Just got a new debit card in which it has the new chip in it..also i finally got approved for a credit card, so we will see how that goes...no annual fee or activation fee and 300 dollar max limit... It's good to hear that your bank is taking care of you....

Don't have much choice when you don't have a credit card, so have to use debt card...i dont have a credit card cause i have no credit..

When i lived in Florida and i use to fish the grass flats i have caught several seagulls and pelican's, the pelican is the worst of the 2 to fight with as they beat the heck out of you with there wings.

Well i have lost several pair of glasses on TRL that i have had blow off of me, i hang glasses in the neck line on my T shirt and have had them blow out along with a pack of smokes. So if any catches a fish around Bridgeport or cape fair with a pair of glasses and a pack of smokes there mine...lmao

For the calcium scale that builds up on an outboard they have a stuff called purekleen and it works great..
