What brand split rings do you all recommend?

I use to use 1157 tail light brake light bulbs, i would wire them so both elements would burn made a bracket out of pcv pipe that fit over the front of a 13 foot Boston Whaler and they hung down about 3 foot deep....coarse this was 25 years ago...put them in the water before we turned them on, they worked really well for what we where doing...we where gigging and the shallow canals and poling the boat.

Down in Florida they use to get what they called blue sky lighting strikes...there was a couple guy's out in there wooden mullet skiff pulling there nets after a thunder storm came thru and the skies where clear and both of them got hit with lighting and killed.....it's scary stuff

The flopper is soft so i can see where if stored in a fashion that changes the contour of the flopper that the flopper wont flop right anymore....

My 90 series plopper wont plop right away, it takes about 5 foot of movement before it starts plopping...my 130 works as soon as it is moved.. Make sure the plopper will spin freely by hand...

Got my spoon's today only bought 3.... 1 nickel plated 1chartruse and a new one they just came out with called shattered glass...

Years ago i use to use slip sinkers on my jigs for added weight, always seemed to work extremely well, also gives a little different presentation to the jig.

Chesse he had just got there and i was coming around from another point( he had his champ and i had mine..lol) and im came trolling around the corner and his wife was yelling come here hurry...so that was the first fish he had caught at around 3 pm..his wife had gottin the one treble hook out of the fish but the other one was in his hand...Doctor at er said good thing we didnt try to remove it ourselves because of the tendons and such and it was in a vein also, Dr cut the hook and pushed it through and blood squirted everywhere...lol....i came home and he's back out there now...lol...i cant see at night so i had to come home before it got dark....cataracts are a bitch at night..hopefully have them fixed by middle of next month. He caught it on a lipless crank bait....we was in Quillbacks honey hole i think...

Went to ER in cassville they had cut hook and push it through...line trick would not have worked...we had just found the fish also....lol

Fish are mean at Big M my son hooked a nice bass but the bass hooked him..this was around 3pm today

Has anyone dealt with Basswishes before.....i ordered some dixie flutter spoons last Friday and paid them thru paypal and money was removed from my account and havent heard a thing from them yet.

I went out this afternoon and it probably be my last time out during the day....Let me put it this way if i would of been carrying my .45 there would of been a couple of artificial reef's over by Cape Fair and Bridgeport area. I put in at Bridgeport cause i had some things to do to my trailer with the boat off and figured boat would be out of everyones way since i can beach it there and not tie up a spot at a dock at a boat ramp. So i get done what i need too and went towards point 15 and im fishing there all by myself and this 30 wellcraft comes around pulling a tuber and staying in that area, so i pulled up trolling motor and went over by cape fair and 20 minutes later here comes that SOB towing a tuber and stops and then starts spinning donuts and running in circles towing his tuber about 200 foot away from me and it's not like there's other places he could of done that...anyway by the time the waves got to me they had grown and i was taking water over my bow as my little Champ bobbed up and down, plus the wind was kicking about 15- 20 mph...needless to say i came home....lol

Nice Bo!! Wish i could go at night or early morning when it's dark got to get my eyes fixed first.....

I agree that the guy was an idiot driving like that, but just remember dung happens when we least expect it especially with the idiots on the lake.
